Seeing Double
Characters: Abel Nightroad, Cain Knightlord, and YOU!
Setting: Hallways around the tower
Format: Either, will copy what you do
Summary: Cain and Abel go in search of answers. Potentially violently.
Warnings: Bad language, possible violence (with permission, of course).
Notes: Both twins will reply to each commenter, so please wait for both terranicidal and terranities to reply <3
Cain wasn't sure what he was seeing as they moved into the corridors; from the tone of the letter he had expected a post-apocalyptic scenario, not this well-maintained building they were in.
Perhaps this was a check-point for the simulation and they wouldn't go any further until they had unlocked its secrets and learned their mission objective. He had to admit that it unnerved him not to know the end goal to strive for, it made it harder for him to achieve the desired result in a swift time, thus ending this uncomfortable situation and allowing him to return back to his life, such as it was, and his duties.
He possibly would have remained in the room he had awoken in for a while longer had he been alone, pondered what could be happening and strategised all the various ways it could turn out. But he hadn't been alone, of course, and to let Abel wander off alone was a disaster waiting to happen.
So anyone walking down the hallways (of any level, they have been exploring), might see two very identical twins walking along, the only difference in their hair colour and the look of murder the silver-haired one is wearing.
[ooc: Open to all, and we'd love to meet everyone. However, Abel is prone to violence, so there's a permissions post here for all your lovely violence needs.]

As soon as Ed was back in that chair he jumped right out of it. He shoved it away forcefully, his fists clenching shut as the chair toppled over and slammed against the floor.]
No need to lose my temper? You're the ones who stormed in here started this shit and you're telling me I should just stay calm and let you walk all over me? Like hell I will. If it's a fight you want, you've got it. I don't know about any stupid mission and I have no idea what either of you are talking about.

well.
the situation abruptly takes a darker turn as the A.I. (sob) displays it has the capacity for some backbone; Abel begins a little too calmly cracking his knuckles.]
Then you'll be the first one I kill til one of you start giving me answers.

Answers won't come in the shape of fists.

[he pulls a little at the collar around his neck] You're not the only ones who want answers.

[it's ridiculous. he'd destroy them until ONE of them was given a helpful task to perform or some information they could use; this was bullshit.]
no subject
[He's sorry, Abel, he just can't condone it.]

So what's the alternative? Do you honestly expect me to be stupid enough to believe some bullshit about the apocalypse and this tower being our salvation?

[The other was barely more than a kid, and he obviously wasn't going to help with the mission objective, so staying here for a fight was pointless.]
Come with me.

[he's getting frustrated, now -- this is fucking ridiculous. all of it -- from the mouth on this kid someone obviously thought was cute to program into this nonsense, to the way NONE of it made any sense what so freaking ever. he's putting a hand on his twin's shoulder, fully prepared to shove him out of the way to get at the kid again]
Get me the fuck out of here right now. Right now! I'm done with these games.

Come on... come away, there are no answers here.

COME AT ME BRO. COME AT ME.]
What the hell is wrong with you?! If you think I'm gonna sit here and put up with this shit you've got another thing coming. I don't have anything to do with this! If there was a way out I wouldn't be here.
You should listen to your brother, dumbass. I don't have any answers for you!

[he is trying to push his brother aside, now, a little edge of darker amusement in his eyes -- the kind he adopts right before he goads someone into the first blow so he can beat the everloving shit out of them at home.]
Teach me a lesson for my disobedience. We're just dogs, right? [tugging lightly at his collar. YEAH YOU WANNA THROW DOWN PUNK HUH
HUH]

I said don't do this, Abel, listen to me.
[Don't make him try the puppy eyes.]
