Seeing Double
Characters: Abel Nightroad, Cain Knightlord, and YOU!
Setting: Hallways around the tower
Format: Either, will copy what you do
Summary: Cain and Abel go in search of answers. Potentially violently.
Warnings: Bad language, possible violence (with permission, of course).
Notes: Both twins will reply to each commenter, so please wait for both terranicidal and terranities to reply <3
Cain wasn't sure what he was seeing as they moved into the corridors; from the tone of the letter he had expected a post-apocalyptic scenario, not this well-maintained building they were in.
Perhaps this was a check-point for the simulation and they wouldn't go any further until they had unlocked its secrets and learned their mission objective. He had to admit that it unnerved him not to know the end goal to strive for, it made it harder for him to achieve the desired result in a swift time, thus ending this uncomfortable situation and allowing him to return back to his life, such as it was, and his duties.
He possibly would have remained in the room he had awoken in for a while longer had he been alone, pondered what could be happening and strategised all the various ways it could turn out. But he hadn't been alone, of course, and to let Abel wander off alone was a disaster waiting to happen.
So anyone walking down the hallways (of any level, they have been exploring), might see two very identical twins walking along, the only difference in their hair colour and the look of murder the silver-haired one is wearing.
[ooc: Open to all, and we'd love to meet everyone. However, Abel is prone to violence, so there's a permissions post here for all your lovely violence needs.]

Abel looks more than a little surprised at the sight he finds behind the blanket's confines. It's just... a child. Is he disappointed? Perhaps he'd expected to find something of interest that would hint at their purpose in this meaningless training simulation...
He angles his head toward his brother, giving him a side-eyed glance of inquiry. What the hell is this...? And what the hell is that oversized... key-thing even supposed to-- what the hell, man. This is all going right over his head.

Cain's natural instincts to soothe reared inside him, tempered only slightly by the deeply buried mistrust of anything that wasn't his family, and he moved past Abel to crouch before the boy.
"...are you all right? We're not going to hurt you, don't worry."
That was an order to Abel, as much as it was a reassurance for the strange child.

The key faded away pretty quickly in a sparkle of light, leaving the blond inside to try and straighten himself out, and close his book. Roxas shifted forward, sitting on his knees, pursing his lips before speaking.
"I'm- I'm fine. That's good to know." A pause, and Roxas ruffled his hair. "Sorry about that, I've been a bit on edge...this place isn't very comforting."

Abel is more fascinated by this phenomenon than the kid who had wielded it; talking to humans was more his brother's forte, so he seems content to hang back for now and examine what else existed in this little 'tent' the boy had put together. If he was looking to hide, it was sort've defeating the purpose by drawing more attention to himself...

"You can say that again," he grinned at Roxas, settling down next to him as though he didn't have a care in the world. "Maybe you can tell me a little more about it, hm?"
