[Teddie is walking around, looking for anyone he recognizes, when Ryoji walks by. Curious about his attire, Teddie catches the tail end of the scarf and tugs gently.]

[Ryoji had been using the scarf to cover up his collar, so he'd look half-normal, and so that he could stop himself from tugging at it every five seconds. So when it's starts getting tugged away, he's flailing to hold on to it, spinning around and getting all tangled up in it in the process.]

H-Hey, stop-!

[And the fabric holding his limbs together finally gets him to lose balance, flopping over on the ground.]

Ow...

[Pops off his head real quick, leaning over with the scarf still in his mitts] I was right! [He holds it to his cheek] Soft as new fur...

[Attempts to gesture at his tangled self, before sitting up and slowly working on getting untangled.]

But it's useful for other things! It's a signature item! It means anybody can recognize your silhouette on marketing materials. And since it's a signature item, it's a good icebreaker too - just like right now. See?

[That makes it a little easier. A few moments later Ryoji's standing, scarf back in its regular spot around his neck (with just the smallest tug on the collar to be sure that nope, it's still not coming off).]
