Summary: Today's Aleph's birthday! Now that everyone knows, here are the places he can be caught at.

[Dormitories]
[Like most people on most days in the tower, Aleph's day begins by waking up in his bed. After showering and dressing and yada yada, he'll wander the halls for a bit.

No real reason. He just wants to stretch his legs a bit, since he'll be taking the elevator for most of today - he doesn't feel like getting into an unnecessary fight on his birthday, and the dormitories are a safe place to jog.]

[Cafeteria]
[Apparently there is supposed to be food! And cake!

Aleph likes these things. And if it's traditional for other people to feed you on your birthday, well, he's not going to complain.

So, he'll be looking for April or chaos in the cafeteria, though this is a good a place as any to accost him.]

[Meadow]
[Aleph will be either practicing his stretches and his swordplay against a hastily-set up target here, or else just lying around in the fields and napping.

He doesn't get to take naps often. They're really nice, and he wakes up feeling more refreshed, assuming nobody is mean enough to wake him up abruptly.

(Totally wake him abruptly.)]

[Media Room]
[No, he's not doing karaoke. But he is commandeering the TV for really cheesy movies. Mystery Science Theater-3000-level bad B-list movies. It seems he either has really bad luck in what he's picking at random or else he genuinely enjoys snorting at terrible acting. Maybe both.

Join him? Snark at the films he's watching?]

[Aleph's still wearing his armor as he wanders down the stairs, still has his sword and gun on him, and basically still looks like his regular weirdo self. He'll also still be greeting those he passes with 'good morning!' and 'good afternoon!' and 'how's it going?' in a chipper tone. Feel free to smack him.]

[chaos will be in the cafeteria, cooking some curry when Aleph walks in. Since chaos can sense the person, he'll turn around give Aleph a genuine smile.]

Oh, don't mention it. Birthdays and small celebrations should always be remembered. They're quite fun.

[Since it's done, chaos will turn off the stove, put a pile of rice and curry onto a plate and hand it to Aleph.]

I am glad that it does. Let us hope that it tastes good.

[chaos liked food, even if he technically didn't have to eat, but if Aleph wanted the whole curry to himself, chaos wasn't going to stop him.]

[chaos served himself some curry and rice, grabbed a spoon, and then sat down beside Aleph at the table.]

It has been awhile since I have made curry. Hopefully it does not taste too odd.

[He takes his first bite. How is it?]

[It doesn't taste like something out of a four-star restaurant, but it's still pretty tasty. However, there's a bit too much spice in it. However, chaos didn't seem to mind it as he took a bite of the curry.]

It's good. You like spicy things?

I do enjoy them. My friends often ate spicy curry, so I suppose it has grown on me after awhile. Do you like spicy things?

The Center's food is usually pretty bland. I've gotten more used to interesting dishes since, though.

I am sorry to hear that. Hopefully the meals will improve once you return home. However, it is good that you're getting used to better dishes.

[April looks like she's working on something when he walks into the cafeteria, though she makes sure to hide it behind her when she turns to face him. It certainly smells sweet and cake-like though...]

Weeell... [She glances behind her, and now that she's sure that it looks ready, she moves to hold out what she was hiding in front of her. So now in her hands is one sponge cake, which she hesitantly offers to him.]

Your cake! I, ah, couldn't make anything fancier than this, though...

It looks delicious!

[:D He takes the plate from her and sets it down on a nearby table.]

Come share it with me?

[Blink. Looks like she wasn't expecting him to say that.] ... You, um, want me to share it with you?

Why not? You worked hard on it and I don't want to eat a whole cake by myself. Besides, it's more like a birthday party this way.

... Mm, that's true. [She takes something else from the counter and hides it behind her, before placing it on the table. And it's a minature and rather futuristic looking motorcycle model, and a decently well-made one too.] And here, this is for you too.

...That is so cool.

[She blushes faintly as she takes a seat at the table.] It was, um, pretty simple to do... And, uh, I based it off of the old bike designs from home...

[A bright smile, and he picks it up and runs it across the table like he's driving it.]

[Yeah, April can't help but giggle a bit.] Ehehe, well, I'm glad you like it!

I bet the cake's amazing too. [He grins and, after setting down the motorcycle, takes a bite.]
