Characters: England and you!
Setting: Various (room 1-20, floors 28, 48, 3, 19)
Format: Starting action, will match!
Summary: A few more centuries have made England even broodier. Gross.
Warnings: England is affected by the event. He believes he has been in the Tower for 300 years. For full tl;dr, go here. Also, nation angst and potentially language.
scenario A♛ room 1-20
[If you're here, it's probably for one of three reasons:
You want to learn survival skills from that grumpy English dude,
You're visiting one of the other residents of 1-20,
or, you've run into some trouble with America and you're consulting his keeper.
(If you're here for the first reason, you probably heard about him through word-of-mouth, since it's not like he advertises his abilities any more.)
Whatever your reason, he's here, poring over books that he's taken from the libraries. They're stacked on the bedside table, on his trunk, and all around the bed. He isn't too worried about returning them. They vanish on their own eventually anyway.]
scenario B♛ floor 28
[He's made himself up a little area in the music room -- mostly because the din of the flashy media room is too much for him and he'd rather listen to other instruments than video games. He's sitting beside an amp with his bass in his lap, plugged in and strumming against the unmatching tunes of the Tower's instruments.
He doesn't play much. Mostly just one bassline, over and over.]
scenario C♛ floor 48
[Whenever he feels the temptation to do something stupid, he visits the graveyard instead. Usually he rests amongst the graves of the other nations.
Today, he sits propped up against the back of the headstone designated for one United States of America (there are three of those, by his count-- but this is the one he knows). There are actually individual flowers set by the graves of each nation, America included, but England acts as though he isn't the one that put them there.
Some of them are the national flowers. But some of those are hard to cultivate in the Tower, so he made do with what he had.
The sentiment is there, at least?]
scenario D♛ dorm floors or either of the libraries
[More than likely, he'll be found arsing around on the terminals, usually with books nearby. He looks so bored that he's obviously not doing anything important, and can be bothered at will.]

Sort of absurd, isn't it? How glorified placeholders can nonetheless put our minds at ease so.
[It lacks the tone of derision that the words call for. He's too tired to be that self-deprecating.]

Not any more, obviously.]
I suppose so. [He grimaces a little at this, his tone indicating he has more to say but isn't willing to say it. He honestly wonders why any of this pointlessness is a comfort. But, he doesn't wish to burden Taiki with that kind of question.]

...perhaps it is a comfort to think that someday, they may return -- if only for a moment -- to see the tokens of remembrance left in their honour.
[He doesn't look at Taiki. His gaze is focused up into the "sky" of this floor.]
--the good byes they were never properly given.

He squeezes the young kirin's shoulder gently.
He really is a sentimental idiot, isn't he?]
Wise words there.

England doesn't have anything else to say. He's content to enjoy the company in silence.]
