Summary: 10 years have passed for Chihiro who is currently 25. He's also experienced a growth spurt within that decade and now stands at 5'8 from his previous 4'10. He's also perfectly comfortable living as a boy. He's much stronger and trained in various types of martial arts. He is still a programmer and has made lots of improvements to Alter Ego. His personality hasn't changed much though and he's still the sweet, friendly Chihiro he once was. Oh, he and Mondo are also still together and he's clearly the one in charge and has learnt that it's sometimes necessary to use a bit of violence on his idiot boyfriend to make him listen...  All replies will be made from superprogrammer

[Morning; Dorm hallways]
Chihiro, who is dressed rather cutely in a bunny eared hoodie, is on his way towards Mondo's room so that they can go down for breakfast together. He is holding a small electronic device and sweeping his fingers over the touchscreen as he walks. He has some sort of communicator on, which extends from his left ear to his mouth and appears to be chatting with someone. Then all of a sudden the device projects a life-sized holographic image of his younger self before him. Alter Ego seems rather agitated but no one else can hear what she's saying but him, as she's talking directly into his headset. Older Chihiro frowns.

"But that isn't possible. Please go back into the network and check the data one more time."

Alter nods rather reluctantly and disappears.

[Floor 32; Forest]
Chihiro is out in the forest with his now rather elderly brown pet bunny, Chuck. He's playing with it and just letting it have a hop around.

After a while, he puts Chuck back in the basket he's carried him up in and goes about going his martial arts practice - kicking, leaping and striking out with learned movements. It's clear that he's now gotten rather good at this.

[Floor 15; Workshop]
Chihiro is in here looking around to see if there's anything he can use to further upgrade his computers and his portable devices. He's also looking for something he can use to make a practice dummy.

[Floor 14: Media room]
Chihiro is curled comfortably on a couch with his laptop as he works while listening to classical music. He's busy typing away likes of code but he won't mind a distraction from his work.

"Heeee~ey."

Rei gives him a little wave, having finished welding her latest gun. She currently has the look of an educated woman, with her glasses and labcoat.

"Anything I can help you wi--?"

Her words cut off as she sees who she's talking to. A boy of flesh, but with Alter Ego's face...

So many years had passed for her. Too many for most of the original human inhabitants to survive. But Alter Ego had followed her into that future, being an artificial intelligence.

"Ah, hello, Rei-san!"

Then he tips his head a bit, rather confused by her reaction. "Is something wrong?"

[terreifying]

"You are...Chihiro-san, right?"

She quickly shakes her head.

"N-no. Nothing's wrong."

Discounting the fact that she's seeing people who should already be dead.

"Yes... Don't you remember me, Rei-san?" Seeing as he just saw you yesterday.

He tilts his head a bit, rather puzzled by how she's acting. "ARe you sure you feel alright?"

[terreifying]

"Yes, to both."

She sighs.

"I suppose this answers something about the Tower's recent experiment."

It seems that her time might have been lengthened instead of other inhabitants having their memories erased.

[superprogrammer]

"The Tower's recent experiment? Which one are you referring too?"

[terreifying]

"Our times. Our physical ages and the memories to go with them. Some of us have had that messed with. I think I might be a little too old."

But she doesn't look it, since she's stopped changing her body to match her age after a certain point. She just looks like a woman in her late twenties.

floor 32; forest

Kuwbara somehow lost sight of Eikichi as the cat had scrambled off into the forest. He was chasing after the cat calling its name, trying to find where his precious cat went, but clearly it was harder than he thought to find a cat in a place like this. He noticed a familiar presence as he approached the forest more.

He spotted the male not too far off with a brown bunny. He noticed that Chihiro was actually doing a lot of things he didn't expect the other to be doing now. He's kind of intrigued because the delicate looking guy he used to know wasn't so delicate anymore. Not that he cared. People grew.

Chihiro kept on going through his paces when he felt someone watching him and looked over.

Then he smiled brightly, "Hi, Kuawabara-kun!"

"Yo, workin' hard I see," he grinned stepping out from his watching place. Kuwabara's pretty amazed at Chihiro's new abilities lately. The guy could shw the world that he wasn't a push over and Kuwabara always respected people who could do that. He reminded him a lot of his friends at home.

"What're ya practicin?'" he mused after a moment.

"Have you come to train too? I'm just practicing my karate moves. Chuck..." He nods over at the bunny in the basket. "... is keeping me company."

[mulberry_tree]

"Was trainin' earlier. I almost hit a guy by accident but didja see a cat come yer way Chihiro?" Kuwabara glaces over to the basket with the rabbit in it and grins, "Nice ta see ya well Chuck. Eikichi didn't try ta take ya with her this time did she?" he mused glancing at the rabbit before turning to him.

"I see. Ya ain't much of a pushover anymore are ya?" he grins teasingly.

"Eh?" He laughed a bit. "Really? I hope that guy is alright!" Then he looked a little alarmed, remembering the last time that cat tried to take his bunny. "I certainly hope that won't happen again! Is Eikichi missing...?"

"Of course I'm not, Kuwabara-kun! I've changed for quite a while now and you should know that unless your memory is going?" He teased back.

Shion was utterly confused, things had gotten strange fast, people had gotten older. People were claiming more time had passed than had... or perhaps Shion had lost time.

He was confused and his confusion only grew when he saw the holograph of Chihiro and the boy in the rabbit eared hoody.

Chihiro happened to look over then he frowned a but in confusion.

"Shion-kun? Is that you?"

[Shion was just as confused.] It is, but I'm afraid I don't know who you are...

... what are you talking about, Shion-kun? It's me. Chihiro... Though, you do look different... much younger in fact...

[savedbyasong]

Chihiro? [But... Wait he looked younger? It was Chihiro who looked older...] I haven't changed, I only saw you yesterday and you were smaller than me...

And a girl... [Unless this was a different Chihiro but why would a new Chihiro know him?]

... I was smaller... and a girl? But that was ages ago! Almost 10 years now. Actually... I've always been a boy... I was a crossdresser...

[Mondo, on the other hand, was going to head to Chihiro's room...and he walks right by him, because there's no way he could recognise Chihiro like that. Not at almost a foot taller, anyway.]

Chihiro frowns at that and hurries after him.]

Mondo!

[He turns around, hands in his pockets.]

Yeah? I know you?

... what's got into you today, Mondo? Of course you know me. I'm Chihiro.
