[closed] EIGHTEENTH STAFF ♞ File unencrypted.
Characters: Sayaka Miki and Jin Shirato.
Setting: Floor 3.
Format: Prose mofos
Summary: The failrails prod at the network again, and somehow end up finally talking about their ka-why backstories.
Warnings: Blue haired teenagers interacting with each other, spoilers for their canons.
It's the dwindling days of one admin shift moving into the next. The lull, in the face of the coming storm of a confirmed Ruana month. All is as peaceful as a day in the tower's bottommost library ever can be, as active a place it was thanks to being one of the only floors with nodes of functioning terminals.

"Yo, Jin!"
The fragile peace is shattered.
Sayaka's quick to grab a chair, and spin it around backwards so that she can lean over the back and talk.
"You got the time to crack something for me?"
Usually she waited until posts were a bit cold to try to look at the hidden bits, but this time she was too concerned not to wait. It might turn out to be nothing, but that's a risk she'd have to take!

this is getting too meta
"As far as I can tell, she made it so that you'd never be able to turn into that monster from before. Sounds like a good deal to me."
there is no "too meta"
She sits back down in her chair - properly, this time - with a huff, but it's the huff of someone giving in.
this is not pathologic
He'd probably poke fun at it more, but nevertheless moved on to the next locked thread, leaning back in his chair so she could see the next one.
