Setting: The 20th Floor
Format: Either or.
Summary: Canada's climbed to the top of the tower to see what's around them if possible.
Warnings: NA.

Canada felt like he had been trapped in the building for much too long. Even in the forest it felt artificial and forced, like a garden or terrarium. It didn't feel like there was any connection to the outside world. So, gathering up his bear Matt headed up all those stairs, passing some terrifynig rooms like the one with the bloodied walls and screaming or the room that was a complete void.

Finally reaching the top and standing on the very top of the tower he sighed. Nothing could be seen through the fog but at least he could smell the fresh air instead of whatever was recycled within the building below his feet.

"Oh?" She asked, tilting her head curiously as she glanced up at him. The embarrassing smile was rather cute and it seemed to suit him rather well.

"Yea, I had to learn some way to cope with living around Alfred and Arthur." he sighed and pushed his glasses back onto the thin bridge of his nose. He cursed France's thin and delicate facial features he'd somehow inherited it made sure his glasses never stayed on his face.

"I suppose you'd have to learn something like that in such a household hm?" She asked with a small smile. Thankfully her life with Austria was quiet but when she was younger in her days under Ottoman reign, well, she could see how anyone would need to space out to get some damn peace.

"Usually I was forgotten or Arthur would ask Alfred who he was talking to when I'd be standing right beside him. My childhood was...lacking." he didn't explain the amount of times that he'd be forgotten somewhere in Arthur's house left to his own devices until Alfred would come get him and ask him why he hadn't come to Lunch. Matthew usually had lost track of time and no one had bothered to tell him, but he didn't hold animosity toward either of them for it. He certainly was never caught in the middle and only had to listen to their fights not participate.

"It was alright, I liked being under France's guidance more as a child. Now I don't really care who's colony I was, but it seems the zoning out problem is still around."

Watching him, he was zoning out again with his own words as he stood right there before her. She watched him, frowning just a tad at the corner of her lips only to raise her hand and gently tug on his curl in hopes of removing that remorse look on his face.

The reaction Hungry got was something between a gasp and a moan before the Canadian jumped several feet away from her with a fierce blush on his face.

"Wh-why did you do that?!" he stammered, violet eyes wide and his face mimcking the colour of his flag.

"There, you see. Now your mind is off of it." She smiled innocently enough. She knew what it had done for the twins but whether it worked on him was another thing she had to just leave to chance. Greece and Turkey's worked the same but then there was Austria who just seemed to get more annoyed if you touched his.

So, chances were a 50/50 of getting the reaction she wanted.

Matt just stared at her as his face slowly returned to normal, although he still felt rather uncomfortable having her know about his ahoge. He gave her a wary look, keeping a good three feet from her. As nice of a nation as she was... he really didn't want people jumping into his pants just for shits and giggles.

"....Ah." He really had no idea what to say to that so he settled for staring at her awkwardly.
