What: Yukki realizes a chance to fix two of the (less-)non-Yuno related things he regretted the most from his world was taken from him.

Akise and Tsubaki are nowhere to be found. For some reason, this worries me.

I find graves marked with Akise and Tsubaki's names. The graves are empty. I don't see them again on the Tower, and nobody else does, either. I have mixed feelings about this.

[ ... Well, guess what he does right away after reading these entries? Rather than go to the cafeteria first thing in the morning like usual, he takes a detour to the library terminals. He goes straight to typing and sends off one message. To his girlfriend. ]

they're gone, yuno. it's okay now. diary says there's some new floors. floor 81 sounds fun. i'll show you why later. love, yukki

[ He can be found just staring at his food after this. He's clearly got a lot on his mind. Sure, Akise and Tsubaki leaving made things easier when it came to Yuno, but he can't help but feel a little disappointed. It felt like a chance to make things right with both of them. Sure, his version of Akise basically brought what happened to him on himself, and any sympathy he had for his version of Tsubaki (which was actually quite a lot; nobody deserves what happened to her) went out the window the moment she tried to hurt Yuno the way she did. But they were different. From another timeline. One that, in some way, was apparently just little bit better than his own, enough for Tsubaki to be a halfway-decent person and a potential friend, and for Akise to not be quite as... well... suicidal, for lack of a better term, in his pursuit of him.

Maybe they were just another experiment by these 'administrators,' too. A test to see if he could forgive Tsubaki, and if he'd be willing to give Akise a chance. ... what does that mean about Yuno, then? Would they take her away from him, too? No... no, she had to have been trapped here just like he was. They were from the same version of reality.

Well. Sort of. Close enough... closer than Akise and Tsubaki were to his, anyway. ]

[ When Yuno looks back at him, she'll see he's holding up two straws. ]

I... thought this would be nice.

[ Apparently, not, if she's just gonna chug the whole thing down. ]

[obsessing]

[ Oh, oops. She laughs it off and stops drinking. Thankfully, there's still a little over half the soda left when she puts it down, taking the straws and placing it inside the cup. ]

Sorry, Yukki. [ She... didn't know, alright?! Even though she totally was planning on sharing it, straw or no straw. ] We can get another one later, if you want.

[ He forces himself to smile. ]

Sure. How about later tonight? [ He did, after all, mention Floor 81. ] I... wanted to show you something.

[obsessing]

I don't mind.

[ Thankfully, Yuno sounds calm at this point, and gives a small sigh of relief. At least he isn't angry or pissed off at her, which is a good sign. ]

And really, Yukki? You wanted to show me something? What is it?

[ She would check her diary if it worked, but unfortunately, it doesn't. Sucks to be her. ]

Another floor with a lot of windows. It's the highest floor in the Tower like that. [ She should see where this is going. ]

I thought it would be a nice place, just for us.

[obsessing]

[ Yuno's eyes light up at the sound of that, and her grin widens a little. ]

It would be perfect to see the stars up there.

[deusexyandere]

That's what I was thinking.

[ He smiles, a bit sheepishly. Just a month or so ago, he wouldn't have thought this was possible. He was worried the Yuno he loved was gone for good. ]

Do you want to?

[obsessing]

I'd really like that, Yukki.

[ Even though she's still unsure, she knows that for now, it's fine to love him. There's no Survival Game or Deus to get in the way, after all. Only the admins. ]

Me too.

[ And then, in a rather rare show of bravery and confidence, he decides to lean in, and press his lips to hers. In some crazy way, this world was a blessing in a gory, disturbing, high-octane nightmare-fuel coating. After all... they were able to move passed the Survival Game together. And maybe now, they can actually try being a normal couple.

Or, well, as normal as it gets with Yuno Gasai. ]

[obsessing]

[ She accepts the kiss wholeheartedly, a huge grin on her lips once the kiss actually breaks. There's a slight hint of a blush when he's done, and she clasps her hands together, happy. ]

I'm just glad they're all gone.

[deusexyandere]

Y-Yeah... [ Way to kill the mood. He never hated Akise, even if Akise was asking to get killed after all he did to antagonize Yuno. As for Tsubaki... he liked that version of her. She was kind, not crazy, and was more like how he thought she was when he met her in their own world. It's not like he expected anything different from Yuno, but... he didn't agree. ]

I won't leave you, though. I promise.

[obsessing]

I know.

[ As long as he doesn't voice that thought, we're all good. Nevertheless, Yuno manages to give a soft smile, nodding. Besides, nobody, especially not those two can take her Yukki away. Ever. ]

[ That was probably true. Call it unhealthy, but he loved her dearly. It's funny how he went from terrified of her, to being almost as dependent upon her as she is on him; just not for the same reasons. He refused to believe that he just relied upon her for protection. He wanted so desperately, especially with what happened in their own world, to believe that his love for her was genuine. And he wouldn't stop until she believed the same thing. ]

I love you, Yuno.

[ He kisses her cheek, and embraces her again. ]

... They won't bother you anymore.

[ And that's as close as she's getting to him saying he's glad they're gone, because if he said that, it would be a lie. ]
