[Iiiit's explorin time]
Characters: Asch and Luke/Sheba/Guy/Jade/whoever else
Setting: New floors time! Spread across the first few days of the month as needed.
Format: Look can I just permanently say I don't care; starting in actionspam I guess.
Summary: Exploring the new floors, and also everyone and their mindreader talks about fonon separation, ahoy!
Warnings: Aside from the usual redheads yelling, talk of death, near-death, and depression.
[Floor 100 and descending - open, probably the first or second]
[Anyone who decides to take the trip down from the dorms into the new floors will find Asch just off the staircase on floor 100, staring at whatever it is he's seeing. He takes a step forward, hand raised as though to open a door or a gate, before turning away with a disgusted expression and stomping further down the staircase.
Care to go after him?]
[Other floors, via elevator]
[Given how much the Tower's expanded, it only makes sense to take the elevator down to explore the lower sections of the new floors. Unfortunately, the elevator is also used by virtually everyone in the Tower, which means running into some people he does like, and some he doesn't.
Luckily, he doesn't know how to work that door close button. Be stuck in an elevator with a grumpy redhead, y/y?]

...the eyes are freaky enough, though.
[Hustle hustle-- OH LOOK, THE OCEAN. Sheba can't help but raise an eyebrow at that.]
The Administrators never fail to astound me.

[...Sup, it's a beach.]
I imagine this floor will be quite popular in the summer.
[Right now, though? The ocean breeze is cold as fuck. The sound of the waves is still pretty relaxing, though. And off in the water...
Wait, didn't he see the staircase back in the sand? Asch turns on the spot, looking puzzled.]
Two staircases?

[She sort of has a hard time believing that. She shivers a bit and shifts her cloak to pull it around her arms. It surprised her how unfamiliar it felt - hadn't she spent the better part of the last few months journeying on Piers' ship? ...that felt so long ago...
She's snapped out of her thoughts by Asch's turning, and her expression mirrors his puzzlement as she looks between the two staircases.]
...should we check the staircase out there? [She nods to the stairs coming up from the shallow water.] That's definitely not something I've seen here before.
[She's not sure what to expect from it, but the whole point of exploration is to see new things, and a second staircase counts as new.]

We can always check the other one later.
[He's really glad his boots are waterproof, though, because the water over by those stairs is up nearly to his knees and sure to be freezing cold.]

[While she's not really looking forward to the inevitable chill of the water, she doesn't think it can be too terrible. She sets off for the stairway at a brisk pace.
...in spite of the fact that she'd tried to prepare herself for it, she still shivers as she steps into the water, and hustles up to the stairs to get out of it as quickly as she can.]
Maybe we'll get lucky and whatever's up there will be much warmer.
