Setting: New floors time! Spread across the first few days of the month as needed.
Format: Look can I just permanently say I don't care; starting in actionspam I guess.
Summary: Exploring the new floors, and also everyone and their mindreader talks about fonon separation, ahoy!
Warnings: Aside from the usual redheads yelling, talk of death, near-death, and depression.

[Floor 100 and descending - open, probably the first or second]

[Anyone who decides to take the trip down from the dorms into the new floors will find Asch just off the staircase on floor 100, staring at whatever it is he's seeing. He takes a step forward, hand raised as though to open a door or a gate, before turning away with a disgusted expression and stomping further down the staircase.

Care to go after him?]

[Other floors, via elevator]

[Given how much the Tower's expanded, it only makes sense to take the elevator down to explore the lower sections of the new floors. Unfortunately, the elevator is also used by virtually everyone in the Tower, which means running into some people he does like, and some he doesn't.

Luckily, he doesn't know how to work that door close button. Be stuck in an elevator with a grumpy redhead, y/y?]

[Well, Xion needs to go down to the cafeteria to eat. And at this point, going down the stairs isn't an option anymore. Maybe she'll do some exploring later but right now food is a priority.

So, Asch, have a quiet replica standing next to you in the elevator, peering at you out of the corner of her eye through a curtain of hair. What? 100 floors is a long way to go down, even if the elevator jumps 20 floors at a time.]

So do all replicas from your world wear that coat?

[Xion flinched and turned her head to look at him more directly, startled. She... still wasn't used to him knowing. That whole experiment... or whatever it was... it'd turned a lot of things on its head

Still, the look she gives him is faintly surprised.]

No. [Except her little brother had been wearing a coat... as had Fey. But her little brother also hadn't been wearing a coat when he first got here.] Not always.

[He folds his arms, not looking directly at her.]

I wondered. I keep seeing it around.

[It obviously meant something, the damn things were too uniform to be coincidence.]

[Xion's eyes widen a little bit and she visibly tenses. New people have been turning up again.

Her voice is tight as she replies]

Who? What did they look like?

[Whoa hey chillax he hasn't seen any this month.]

Those couple of silver-haired replicas and an angry blond kid.

[Curious look, because what caused that reaction even.]

[Not telling. Not until they get a higher social link know each other a bit better.

The tension slowly eases out of her shoulders, though she gives him another wide-eyed look.]

Replicas?

[There was another version of her little brother running around the Tower?]

There's two. One of them still thinks he's the original, though.

[A bit of a shrug; that's futureself knowledge there, oh well.]

But both the replicas have purple collars; the originals don't.

[... well, the purple collars confirmed it, unless the admins had started changing people's collar colors again. But she hadn't heard anything like that, so... that meant there really was another here. Four people who looked like Riku in the Tower now.

Originals... It's so strange to think of another world that has replicas like hers does.]

Is that what you call the people we come from, on your world?

[SO confusing, given that three of them went by the same name and the last didn't seem the have one. One good thing about Luke taking his identity, at least they had something to call him.

At her question, he nods slightly.]

We don't really have a word for it.

[Not so far as she knows. Then again she and her fellow replicas are all less than a year old - or... rather they'd been less than a year old when they'd arrived.]

Well, I doubt anyone will mind if you co-opt ours.

[And in his world, the general technology of fomicry is older than he is. The terminology's pretty entrenched now.]

[She doesn't sound sure. At all. Probably because she and Sora have already made their peace (like there was any that needed to be made) and he treated her like a little sister now.]

Can't hurt to have the terminology standardized.

[Reduces confusion for everyone, yay. Although the rest of the terminology wouldn't apply, given how different the two kinds of replicas are, but like he knows that.

He wonders how they were born, but he's not going to ask. That'd invite them to ask about Luke, and... no.]

But... ['I don't think about him like that'] What if it doesn't feel right?

[Terminology is still terminology she supposes, but... she doesn't like thinking about Sora like that. Or even herself the way Asch seems to view Luke.]

[Silence for a long moment, then finally he shrugs.]

It's not like I really care. Do what you want.

[Honestly, replicas, he spends half an hour a day in the brain of one and he doesn't understand any of you.]

But... Didn't you just say it'd be easier to all have one word for it?

It would be. But if you don't want to, I can't exactly force you.

[As long as she knows what the standard term is, she can handle any confusion on her own.]
