A new ghost in town

Summary: Perona arrives and she can't summon her ghosts... why?! She starts out in her room and makes her way downstairs.

[Room 1-19]

[After Perona had woken up, she put on her goth lolita attire. She knelled down to her trunk and began to search for something. The search turned out to be her tossing stuff aside Whatever she was looking for, she was either desperate or in denial.]

No... No... NO. They better have brought it. Those heartless insensitive people.

[Floor 48]

[As she explored the tower, she stopped in the graveyard room. It wasn't like Thriller Bark, so creepy and yet empty. Perona leaned herself near a tombstone before she sat down. She extended her arm out like she was about to grab something. Instead she tried to summon her ghosts and of course her attempts has failed. Her hand slowly closed to a fist raged at this. Not only they have taken away from her home but most of her powers too?! This wasn't acceptable.]

[Cafeteria]

[Here's Perona trying to consume oatmeal because that's what they gave her. Watch her make a face every time she eats it including tongue hanging out following a tantrum. Seriously, how do people eat this stuff?]

[ One of Evatrice's favourite activity is spotting the newbies - aka the oatmeal eaters - in the cafeteria and trying to scare the shit out of them, okay. And so there's a new target spotted today? .. Although this girl doesn't really look like most new people..

But oh well, might as well try. ]

Wha-t, don't like the taste..?

[Before Perona could throw a sarcastic remark... pretty dress. She has to admit, it was quite cute and the colors were perfect. Perona set her bowl down, disgusting thing.]

I'm sure you don't think otherwise as well. After all, you got a good taste on dresses.

[ Oh. See, flattery works very well with Evatrice. So she giggles (still sort of omniously) as she spins around, as if she's showing it off. ]

Of course..! Even if I'm a witch, I can't be like those old boring grannies, I need my own style! .. Bu-t.. you're right, that stuff tastes disgusting.

[What is ominously to Perona? Giggles like that are music to her ears.]

Hmph, it shouldn't be wasted on old people anyway. Something cute and elegant should be reserved for people like us. Haraharahara~ [Wait... she said witch? Perona arched an eyebrow.] ...A witch you say?

[Damn, where's the tea for this?]

[ Hey, just ask for tea and Evatrice can make some. Comes with awesome witch powers and all. But she's talking right now either way, why not brag when she has the opportunity to. ]

Cafeteria

[Sesshomaru isn't complaining about the sudden influx of sugar into the meals offered at the cafeteria this month. He is also not advertising his particular predilection for it. He takes a seat in the table next to Perona's minding his own business.

And his sweets.

You wish you were eating these sweets, Perona, instead of your yucky oatmeal.]

[This is cruel and unusual punishment Fluffy! Yes, she's going to name him Fluffy.

Have a long stare from the other table Fluffy because Perona is debating what to do next over here.]

[To be fair, he is pretty damn fluffy. After a moment of slowly and delicately eating his food, Sesshomaru deigned to look at her, expression arrogant and insufferable.]

...is something the matter?

[YOU PEASANT, he didn't add.]

[For the record... she's no peasant. Since she has his attention, might as well answer.]

Where did you get those?

[As her eyes stared at those sweets.]

[Sesshomaru stared at her for a moment.]

The servants.

[Working units, servants, same things.}

floor 48

[ghostytrainer]

[While she may have failed to summon one of her ghosts, Perona has at least attracted the attention of a ghost. There's a low, echoing cackle from an indeterminate source before a disembodied, three-fingered claw of a hand appears next to her. A single, dark red, closed-up rose is grasped between the claws. The hand's owner is nowhere in sight, and the voice that accompanies the hand is as impossible to pinpoint as the laugh was. Just where is it coming from?]

Haaauuunnnttttt?

[Okay, you think she's used to this where she lived her whole life. Here, she has no idea what to expect. Now there was this low echoing that would be music to her ears that made her think of other possibilities. Then those three fingers showed up. Perona stared at this floating claw for a moment...

A long moment...

Then it talked...]

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKK!

[Perona screamed as her eyes stretched out. As she screamed, her body fell away from the disembodied hand to the ground resulted a crash.]

[There's another cackle before the hand's owner suddenly appears out of the ground. Yup, that sure is a disembodied...head...body...thing. Oh look, and there's the other hand too!]

[This was not at all how he was planning this prank to go, but he's still getting some good laughs out of it.]

Haunt Haunt Haunt Haauuunnnntttt!!!

[If she wasn't terrified right now, she would think this looked neat. But not right now, she has no idea what this.... thing is or if it was another monster of the tower. No ghosts means no hollows, no hollows means no defense sob. Perona screamed when she saw this... disembodied head, yes it looked like a head with a terrible haircut.

She jumped to the air and floated far far away, far enough to go through the ceiling. A few moments later she'd peak back into the graveyard.]

[ghostytrainer]

[The ghost disappears shortly after she does, still chuckling. Where he goes, nobody knows.]

[At least until Perona pokes her head back in to look in the graveyard.]

[He must have followed her because a few moments later, he peeks his head down out of the ceiling too. His eyes are missing from his face though...for some reason. Oh wait, no. There they are.]

Cafeteria

[Togami is also in the cafeteria, holding onto a meal that looks far more appetizing. He smirks when he spots Perona acting like a pitiful child with the customary first meal.]

Tch, how old are you?

[lolighostgirl]

[Oh that's just cruel. Eating a fine meal in front of a young lady while she's suffering. When she hears him, she already gets his idea. Have a displease look. Now she got some attention, she keeps herself compose.]

You should be asking how I'm fairing, or at least offer something decent.

What if I don't care?

[He's not cruel enough to offer her food while she hasn't finished the oatmeal at least.]

Has anybody informed you about the consequences of eating other foods for your first meal?

[How he answered was cruel enough. Before Perona could answer the first question, she blinked at the second one. People here has failed at the informing part.]

Wait, so something really happens?

[He sighs. Togami didn't feel like having to explain himself, besides toying with people was so much more entertaining.]

Why don't you try and figure it out?

You know, if you eat it with berries and other stuff, it makes it go down a lot faster!

[Maya, you are the best person thus far!]

...I [Never thought about that? Is there hope from this evil confinement?] You really think so?

[ JUST AS PLANNED... ]

Well, yeah! I hated eating the oatmeal when I first got here, so I put a bunch of fruits and stuff and voila! It became an instant snack. But eating the oatmeal's totally worth it if you want to eat all your favorite foods!

Long as it taste better than this disgusting stuff! [Now she's getting up to get some fruits and such.] Why do they make you eat this first anyway?

Because if you don't, you'll just end up throwing up all the other food...
