OPEN with a little bit of closed.
Characters: The Psiioniic & Signless, as well as some Psiioniic and you action.
Setting: Dormitory floor four (closed) and floor 95 (open)
Format: Anything is good with me! Starting with action, but if prose floats your boat I'll follow.
Summary: Signless and Psiioniic have a Talk about other residents and timeline shenanigans, and the Psiioniic decides to wander through the castle. He also has a job now.
Warnings: Nothing atm, but will updated as/if needed.
[closed] [The dorms are neutral ground. It makes it the very best place to meet with Signless, because he's still on edge and frustrated. He doesn't know anything that the troll talks about, and he's beyond tired of being left out just because this Tower is cruel.
Now he just has to wait for him to show up.]
[floor ninety-five] [Working for nothing isn't new to him. Not in the slightest. Picking up dead bodies, while gruesome and icky, isn't even that bad. It's strange, certainly, because he would have never imagined rooms being filled with...balls that aren't initially deadly.
There's no bodies at the bottom now, and he's not really even working right now. He's just playing in the ball pit, because he's never done it and it is kind of fun, potential for death aside. It's boring on your own, though.]

Perhaps it is best if we sit down before I go on. Though I do have to inform you, I do not know of the fate becoming you after my death. Disciple did not inform of the fate of my followers.

We can go into my room, then. [He steps back, leading Signless into his room.]
Did she not know, then? She recorded everything...
no subject
Perhaps it was that she chose not to say. I do have her journal from when she was here, but I have not brought myself to read it.
no subject
Can we read it? Do you think it will thay?
no subject
I am not sure what it will say, nor do I think it is wise to read it.
no subject
Not a whole lot I do you thay ith withe, but that'th never cauthed any problemth before. I need to know, Kankri.
no subject
She was my mate, Mituna. I will not have her privacy defiled by boyish inquiries.

Ith it really tho horrible for me to want to know what happenth to me? Or what happened to everyone elthe? I don't know anything! You know your fate, tho why can't I know mine?
no subject
No. It is not. But it is not a right I chose to have, for my safety I was granted the knowledge of my fate. I did not choose this and if I had it my way I would have preferred to live out my days in naivety with concerns to my fate!
[A Pause.]
I can understand your frustration, but I am not sure if it is the choice you wish to take.
no subject
[Okay, he needs to take a few breaths.]
It'th bad enough knowing that I failed you, but you don't even believe I can handle knowing jutht what thort of punithment I rethieved?
no subject
I just...do not wish to see you upset. I am only doing this out of concern. You are my friend and I do not see you as a failure. Perhaps I do not wish to know what has become of my followers fates. It is not my decision to make.
[A beat.]
I do not delight in having you urge me on like this. However if you do wish to find out...I can not promise the end result will be favorable. It is very possible that the worst has yet to come.

What could pothibly be worthe then dying? I jutht want to know. It'th eating away at me - I can't thtand all of thith... mythtery, all of thith never knowing what happened or what'th going on. I need to know what happenth to me.
no subject
I am sorry, my friend. I know it will not calm your woes by telling you this, but there are worse punishments then death. I know you know this to be true, you have seen the lesser evils of the world first hand.
However, if you insist we may read her journal.
[He also knows he won't let down.]
no subject
It'll be fine. Thhe left it for a reathon, and no harm will come from reading it. Necktht time thhe thhowth up it'll jutht be a fun thtory for uth to tell her.
[He won't say it, but he is a bit wary of finding out what happened to him. What if the Disciple didn't even know? What if their group was divided and received punishment separately? If that was the case, reading her journal would be pointless and all he'd probably learn would be awkward stuff about Signless...]
no subject
Yes a funny story.
[A pause.]
Alright we will head towards my room.
no subject
Alright, let'th go. What floor are you on?
no subject
01-14. Yes.
no subject
Why ith your room tho far from mine? Geethe.
no subject
Because it was how our captors arranged it.
no subject
[But at least they're at the staircase now.]
no subject
no subject
Tho...where did you put it?
no subject
Here. Do be careful with it, friend.
no subject
Tho...
[Now that he has the journal in his hand, he's hesitant. Does he really want to read this with Signless around?]
no subject
Is there a problem?
