Characters: Irisviel (
wirefu) & Saber (
scorchedchivalry)
Setting: briefly room 1-01, then floor 25
Format: Action
Summary: Saber is a very, very angry Servant right now. Hopefully her lady can calm her down!
Warnings: n/a
[While many of the other Masters and Servants have been getting riled up by recent happenings on the network, Irisviel has mostly remained oblivious to such things. She still didn't feel at ease using the terminals, even with the aid she had received early on into her stay. She knew it was bad for her in the long-run, but there were just certain habits and feelings that were a bit hard to break away from. Not even Kiritsugu's constant use of machines similar to that had made her comfortable enough using one.
Luckily - or unluckily, perhaps - for her, she wouldn't remain ignorant to the most recent happenings. Not when, moments after she had packed away her freshly-washed clothes from the previous day, the door to her dormitory burst open, a wave of rage and frustration instantly washing over her. She visibly jumped, but relaxed within moments when she spied the familiar form of her knight in the doorway.]
Saber? [She frowned. The swirl of negativity surrounding the Servant was something she had become accustomed to, but its intensity... that was new. And worrying.] What happened?

Saber? [She frowned. The swirl of negativity surrounding the Servant was something she had become accustomed to, but its intensity... that was new. And worrying.] What happened?

Give me one good reason not to execute Waver Velvet for the crime of stupidity.
no subject
Try to calm yourself, Saber, and tell me what he did. I can't tell you what you should or shouldn't do if I don't know what caused this.

That... that child has gone and posted onto the Tower Network a questionnaire for all Masters and Servants to complete, listing their information like class, master, which War were they in, what were the other teams in their war, what was the course of their war and who they are at odds with.
[Saber's clenched hand swings out to the side to hit the wall, sending cracks through it.]
Right there where everyone in this Tower can see and he filled his own questionnaire out with his own participation in the War.

[Irisviel had always been a patient, understanding woman. She had tried to understand actions that would have baffled or horrified other people, and so, it took a lot to leave her completely speechless.
This just so happened to be one of those very few times.]
Why in the world would he do such a thing? And in public, no less?
[He may have been the naive newcomer to the Grail War, but it was reasonable enough to assume that he'd know the rules of this grand ritual of theirs. It seems that she was wrong!]
no subject
Since Rider is gone and I have pointedly stated that the meeting should disappear with him, he is taking it upon himself to do something similar. And chose this stupidity as a better choice to having a meeting.
[Her voice turns mocking as she growls.] Because he never considered that specific detailed information of the Wars should never be given out even if people know about the War's existence.
no subject
[She can't help but shake her head at this.]
I agree with you. Even if people knew of the existence of the Grail War, that's no reason to go into details. We must do our best to hide as much information as we can.
no subject
[And there's her hitting the wall again, adding more cracks to it.
...might want to get her away before she brings the floor down.]
no subject
Before we speak any more about this, let's move to somewhere a bit more open. You can vent all you like without the risk of bringing the ceiling down... is that okay?
no subject
...very well. Where to?
no subject
[Not really safe for them, she's not worried about that - the meadow is open enough so that even if other residents are milling about there, they'll have plenty of time to get out of Saber's way should her rage flare up again.]
no subject
She then leads the way.]
It is good to know that Waver Velvet is not aware of the results of the Forth War after he was defeated. And if I have my way, he will not ever know.
...he did list your abduction as one of the events. [Reason number three why she wants to stab him.]
no subject
Of course, a slightly discomforted look crosses her face anyway, but that's for a completely different reason.]
You went after him and Rider after I was taken. [Of course she would. Irisviel never really had a doubt that her knight had wanted to come to her rescue.] You told them why? Or did he figure that out on his own?
no subject
[She shook her head.]
no subject
What happened then?
[Better ask that question here, in the open. She could understand, at least, that the end of the Fourth Holy Grail War had been intense on all ends, so if Saber needed to vent as she talked about this as well.... it would have been a bad idea to ask her while still making their way down the stairs.]
no subject
...I had to report back my failure. Maiya did not survive. It was just me. And him. [Saber's hand clenches into a fist at her side.]
no subject
She knew the woman had been hurt in the sudden attack. But that she died...]
Was Maiya able to hold out until you or Kiritsugu reached her?
I think this is right.
no subject
I'm glad you were there, if only for a moment. And I'm sure Kiritsugu wasn't far behind. [Most women, when saying that, would probably sound at least somewhat bitter. But Irisviel? She sounds glad.] As long as there was someone there for her...
no subject
no subject
Saber, if you're feeling frustrated, just let it out. That's why I brought you here. [She lets out a soft chuckle.] Everyone needs to vent sometimes, and a wide open area such as this one is the perfect place.

Well, if you'd like a target... [Irisviel takes a few steps back, and flicks her wrist. The wires in the reels hidden under her sleeves come to life, twirling and twisting until, standing a few feet away, is the form of a human.]
I'm much more used to creating animals, but perhaps this might be good enough?
no subject
no subject
Would you like to continue just this? Or would you prefer something that can attempt to fight back?
no subject
Neither.
[She stands there, looking across the fields.]
It will not help as I am too worried about hurting you in the process.
no subject

no subject
This is a way I can help you, Saber... but if I can't do that, is there anything else I can do?
no subject
[She looks away, across the meadow.] You would be better with the other one.

[Because Saber doesn't know her other self killed the man she loved to get the Grail.]
no subject
[It's not like Saber has to do anything, really, to be a good knight in Irisviel's eyes. But if she's going to argue that, Irisviel has to argue right back.]
