[open] welcome to nowhere fast
Characters: Feferi Peixes and OPEN
Setting: Floor 74
Format: Starting in prose, but I'll match you!
Summary: The most optimistic troll in the tower has gone off the deep end. She kind of told three tower admins where she'd be killing monsters. Someone needs to talk sense into this girl.
Warnings: Highblooded troll who's not exactly stable, so she might curse/scream at your character at first. Violence associated with monster-killing. Will update, if needed.
Feferi had gone on a single run up to the new floors, mainly to see where the water was. Now? She wanted the place where the water and the monsters were. The beaches were too easy, but the cavern on Floor 74? This was perfect for her needs, as messed up as they were. After the admins, after all the tears, all she had left was the anger, and she needed an outlet for it.
She screamed once as she entered, a loud, wordless noise intended to grab the attention of anything - and everything - that was lurking up there. She'd told Jason to do his worst, so when she grabbed her trident, she was ready for anything.
This wasn't going to be pretty killing, and if she died, she died. Feferi couldn't say she cared. She just needed to do something to get this rage out of her system. Better a monster than a person.

So, with a little cation, he approaches her.]
Feferi-hime?

I don't want to hurt anyone. But this was the last straw. I need to get all of this out in a way that's not gonna do anyone else any harm.

...I understand why you're killing all of these monsters but...
[A pause and he shakes his head]
Would you like me to keep you company? I know it hurts, but having someone by your side eases the pain just a little.

...it's...it's complicated. I finally just reached the point where all the methods I knew of keeping myself calm weren't working anymore. I just -
[She pauses, then nods.]
Yeah. Yeah, I would. And it doesn't have to be here.

He had been in here before, but just when he was exploring. Now he looks around and wanders off into the cavern, holding his knife in case of monsters.]
Feferi? Feferi?

[She has to turn around then, hearing an imp growling behind her. At that, she drives her trident through its belly, then pulls it back out, twisting the weapon in midair to finish the monster off with a strike to its head.]
If I scared you. I didn't mean to. It's just...it's just that I'm not quite okay, not right now. I lost someone very important to me, because the Tower chose to take him away, and I haven't handled it very well.

I know! But when you get really mad that's what the bad people want! They like it when we cry and when we get angry. And miss Ruana is bad to the other bad people so they get mad and hurt us so we get mad and hurt each other or the monsters which get mad and hurt us back so everyone ends up hurt and sad and it's all their fault!
no subject
It is all their fault, though.
[Feferi steps forward, collecting some water under her hands and feet. When she stands up and spins, it knocks the monsters away from them, and they decide to scatter after that.]
There. That should keep them away without hurting any more of them, though.

[Labrys had just been passing by when she heard all the commotion. There was a lot she didn't understand about hearts and emotions, but she could understand when one needed to just vent one way or another until they cooled off.]
[But anger made people reckless, and recklessness was risky. So instead of asking Feferi what she was doing or talking her out of it, Labrys summoned her Persona to cast Sukunda and slow the nearest monster down. Unfolding her axe and swinging it into both hands, Labrys took a more passive position nearby to watch Feferi's back and make sure she didn't get into too much trouble.]

Labrys? Thanks, I needed the backup --
[But she doesn't get long to say thanks before she needs to drop back into a fighting stance, knocking the thing back a bit so she can get a better grip on her weapon.]

[She had her own ways of pushing monsters back; shifting her axe into one hand, the other shot out with a chain-knuckle, propelling her forearm straight at its midsection before retracting again.]

Phew. One down, let's hope it didn't call any of its buddies...
