Far from home... again.
Characters: Lexington and you!
Setting: Floor 1 [Cafeteria/Kitchen], Floor 14 [Media Room], Various Floors and Hallways [Your Pick]
Format: Either/or, starting in brackets.
Summary: Lexington gets a rude awaking inside this new Tower. Come tag along for the adventure.
Warnings: None at the moment. Will Edit if need be.
[Around the Tower]
[Waking up in odd places didn't rub on Lex very well. It's happened before, and it hardly ever came with good news. Well, aside from being broken from a curse and all. But this? This was different. This Tower seemed.. almost alive. So many people and rooms and things he couldn't even begin to wrap his head around. But he was going to. Despite how terrified he was when he first awoke, this place had come to fill him with a sense of curiosity and adventure.]
[Oh? The letter? He rather not talk about that. He kept his hopes high, holding on to the firm belief that his friends were alright and that he would find them. He hoped that maybe they were brought to this tower too. But something in the back of his mind told him this was not so. But he shook it off, keeping alert. This place was new. Different. With no clue as to what goes on in this place, he needed to keep his guard up. Not to mention... he doubted anyone else here was used to seeing a gargoyle walking about.]
[Kitchen]
Is that..?
[Lex's eyes beamed with excitement. Food. He made his way to the kitchen doors, poking his head in to see if anyone was lingering about in there. So far, looked like the cost was clear. So, he slipped in, using his tail to close the door gently.]
[The smell from outside the kitchen was amazing, but when he finally found any source of real found, he was disappointed when find that oatmeal seemed to be the only thing on the menu.]
[He took his time, eyeing the goo with a rather judgmental look. To eat it, or not to eat it..?]
[Media Room]
[See, now this? This was something he was familiar with. TVs, gaming consoles. It was as though this room was made especially for him. So much so, in fact, that he took it upon himself to slip onto one of the couches and take a breath. Familiarity was a pleasant surprise in this place. Other floors he'd seen made him wonder if this was place real. If this place wasn't just some weird, extreme dream he was having.]
[Still. He couldn't help but wonder.]

Cafeteria
"Pardon, but I would eat that oatmeal if I were you. If you don't, you'll throw up anything else you do try to eat before eating it."
Re: Cafeteria
"W-What..? What do you mean by that?"
He attempted to keep his cool, acting as though he wasn't startled. She, on the other hand, seemed perfectly calm, despite his appearance.
Cafeteria
"That's exactly what I mean. I know it's a weird rule, but it's how things work here. And I'm sorry if I spooked you! I didn't mean to frighten you."
Re: Cafeteria
Lexington examined the oatmeal a little longer, wondering why that was, exactly. Was there something in the oatmeal that made the other food edible in this place? It churned his stomach to even think of it, but he was starving, and his growling stomach was yearning for food.
"I'm.. I'm actually surprised you're not more startled by my appearance. Most humans I've met don't usually react this well to meeting a gargoyle."
Cafeteria
Cafeteria
"What do you mean, 'dealing with the Tower'? What else is here other than other people?"
Cafeteria
"That's exactly what I mean. Dealing with the monsters in the Tower that try to kill you and the experiments the Administrators throw at you. And a lot of things are here! Personified countries, the personification of the will to live given birth by the collective unconscious, a soul tied to that personification, a man who comes from my distant past, people who come from my future, angels, demons..and other things."
Hallway
The vampire kept his distance from the creature as he made his presence known.]
Lost, are we?
Re: Hallway
N-no.. Just getting a good look at the place is all.
[He noticed the distance the man kept from him. It made him wonder if the man was fearful of him, or just cautious. Whatever the case, Lex would do the same. He knew better than to trust humans on the spot.]
Re: Hallway
It is a big tower. Quite easy to get lost in.
Re: Hallway
[His eyes began to glow, tail flicking back and forth.]
Who are you..?
Re: Hallway
[Who happens to have red eyes and fangs.]
media room
He figures trying to play one now shouldn't be too difficult. He can always start easy and work his way up from there. This way, in the off chance that someone actually did decide that playing with him wouldn't be a total waste of their time, he'd be able to hold his own.
Of course, this has to start with figuring the controller out... and picking through the various game types...
He ends up staggering over to a TV with a large stack of different ones, muttering a curse as he nearly drops a few upon setting them down.]
Re: media room
[So, climbing over the couch, he approached slowly before speaking up.]
Want some help with that?
no subject
[It has to be a testament to his time spent here that he hardly blinks in the face of a green, tailed creature with webbed wings. But then, the world in the program hadn't been anything this side of normal either.]
Ain't nothin' here what all you'd need to get your help on with. Unless they're some game recs for this brother, I guess.
no subject
Well, let me see what you've got there.
Is there any particular type of game you like? Shooters, fighters?
Media room (I assume he's able to head out in the daytime? If not I'll figure something else out)
He settled onto a chair with a pair of headphones, indulging in letting his guard down while he blocked out the sounds around him with music from another world or another time. He couldn't understand the lyrics, but he found himself moving a leg to the melody anyway.
When he happened to open his eyes to keep himself from dozing off, only to find an odd green creature sitting on the nearby couch, he leapt up to ready his weapon...only to forget the length of the headphones' cord. The resistance had him stumbling back into his seat, and he removed the headphones a little sheepishly.
He'd caught the glimpse of Lexington's collar, at least, while he was up.*
...I'm sorry. I didn't hear you come in.
Yup. No stone by day for him. At least not in the Tower (as of now)
Who are you..?
[His voice was low, almost growling.]
Lucky him. I was worried when I saw your app that he'd rack up deaths too fast XD
My name is Enoch... I didn't mean to startle you.
*He would be getting up now if he didn't think it would register as a threat to the creature.*
The mods left it for me to decide and yeah, turning to stone would get him killed far too often
..Sorry. I'm just.. a bit jumpy.
[Lex held a "hand" out.]
I'm Lexington.
I've been marathoning the series lately so I was pretty excited to see him!
*Enoch reaches down to take the clawed hand, though his grip is higher than a modern handshake, and rather than a shake, it's a light squeeze. Though if Lexington begins to shake first he'll follow along - he's caught on to this, at least, awkwardly enough, but his first instinct is still from his own culture.*
It's nice to meet you.
