Make Him Pay

Characters: Sollux Captor, Eridan Ampora, Dualscar
Setting: Backdated to the day Dualscar arrived. Starting on level 2 of the dorms, but I'm not really sure where the battle will take place.
Format: Prose
Summary: Eridan is pissed that Dualscar humiliated him, and Sollux has his gun. Sollux is equally pissed off at Dualscar, and they're not going to take this lying down.
Warnings: Definite violence and probable character death.

Sollux' mood had improved after snuggling with Aradia and blowing things up in HALO, though his rib still hurt and his throat was still sore. The sting of getting owned so badly wouldn't leave him for a while, but at least for now he could put it out of his mind.

He left Aradia with a soft kiss and then trotted towards his own dorm room, ready to hole himself up for a bit and nurse his wounds.

What?! He!? Fuck. What?

Wow did Sollux just save him? Eridan had the feeling that he should be doing something more related to, say, actively strategising in case Dualscar makes it through whatever Sollux's Ancestor is doing right now. Or possibly shooting Dualscar.
But mostly he was just gaping at Sollux. He totally saved him and he didn't have to and THIS MEANT HE HAD A CHANCE.

He took the opportunity to grope Sollux's butt.

Shock. The jolts of psychic energy were not only surprising, but electrifying as well. He is wracked with it, his hand and corresponding arm burned badly from the direct contact, bolts of it slicing at whatever exposed flesh. Perhaps it is only bad luck on his part, that the unarmored part of his abdomen would just so happen to be in the direct line of fire. It is pierced through and all the way through, royally violet blood spilling in waves.

If he'd anticipated it, maybe he'd had better positioned himself for escape. That is, if he hadn't seen his former hostage as the best way of getting what he'd wanted.

But for now, he's collapsed to lie still near the other fallen, his final breath coming in no more than a ragged shudder.

"Oog!" said Eridan incoherently and curled up, trying to catch his breath. "Don't zap him," he said, a little breathlessly. "I wwant to finish him off."
