"Let's 'meat' for beef bowls" and Other Flirts That Just Don't Work
Characters: Akihiko, Mitsuru, and Shura + Shinjiro and Minato (It's a 2-in-1 log!). Other people are welcome to attempt to stop the madness or receive terrible flirting attempts.
Setting: Various floors
Format: Either is fine
Summary: Tape player madness and terrible attempts at flirting + Akihiko reunites with Mitsuru in possibly the worst way. BONUS: Minato and Shinjiro attempt to become more than just friends. /popcorn.gif
Warnings: gore, loss of eyes, more will be added if needed
If transporting people en masse from this Hinoto-Ri place was the experiment, then Akihiko had seen the worst of it already. And it was actually pleasant; Shinjiro arrived, along with the person he never thought he'd see again; his little sister Miki, all grown up. But friends or no friends, life goes on.
Akihiko has already showered, and is in the process of dressing for the day.
That's when he hears the music start to play. The tune sounds bouncy and playful. "Lovely ladies waiting for a bite, waiting for the customers that only come at night." The song plays quietly, and Akihiko goes to look for the source after his pants are on. He discovers the tape player in a different shower stall, but decides to leave it be. It must belong to someone on the floor. Maybe they like to sing in the shower.
"They'll come back for it. Too bad the network's down." He could've let the owner know.
He returns to the rest of his clothes...and decides not to put them on. He carries his shirt and sweater vest under his arm and leaves the bathroom with his toiletries. Girls will be impressed by his lean physique and all those cool-looking battle scars. If not, then he'll just have to win them with words. It's Valentine's Day today anyway, right? And Tohko left him chocolate. That means the ladies do like him! He can't possibly lose.
Except that he totally can.
And that is just the start of what these god-awful machines are about to do the lives of the members of SEES within the Tower.

Her voice is soft; her expression is eerily calm. It might have been possible for Akihiko to catch a glint of something sinister in her eyes before she closed them. When he leaned into her touch, her hand shifted just enough to bring her thumb to the corner of his eye.
"Or perhaps it would be better to... show you?"
A beat. Akihiko would have perhaps a second, maybe two, to ponder that before Mitsuru shifted again. Her other arm came up to his back to hold him in place as she dug her thumb, nail-first, into his eye.
All the while, though, her expression was exquisitely serene. When this was done, where would she keep his eyes? Hmm... they'd stay with her, of course; there was no question about that. She supposed she could cross that bridge when she came to it.

"D-didn't know you were into that," his mind forces him to say. Not call for help, not complain about the pain. All he can think to spurt out are stupid pickup lines. "You're a real animal."

"It's not as if I want to hurt you." Her expression is still eerily calm, considering what she just did. "But it's better this way. Don't worry, Akihiko. I'll be here to be your eyes."
Slowly, she raises her other hand to his face. Akihiko might want to get away from her - otherwise he really could end up blind.

He pulls himself away and backs up to his shower caddy. He's probably the only one who carries a weapon with his shampoo and soap, but it's moments like this where it's important. He grabs the device and aims it at his head. He doesn't need to call out the spell; Caesar knows. The persona raises its globe, and casts Tarunda on her.

A sensation of utter weariness washes over her. She grits her teeth and pulls her own Evoker from its holster, raises it to her head. Not even an instant passes before she pulls the trigger.
Luckily for Akihiko, she doesn't attack him right away; unluckily, the Mind Charge she just cast will make her next move hurt if it doesn't miss.

Mind Charge. That means...shit.
"Hey, don't look so mad! I wouldn't want you to cover your beautiful face with wrinkles..." He casts Diarama on himself; the better shape he's in for that attack, the less likely he'll faint. He really doesn't want to go completely blind, especially when she's like this.

She pulls her Evoker's trigger again, summons Artemisia...
"Bufudyne!"
...welp. Run, Akihiko. Run.

"What an ice queen...why don't you let me warm your heart?" He pulls the trigger of his Evoker once more after pointing it at his chest, attempting to cast Ziodyne on her.

"How dare you," She says through gritted teeth, bringing her Evoker back up to her head and pulling the trigger for another Mind Charge. For the moment, she's less focused on claiming his eyes and more focused on making him pay for that shock.

"You look amazing when you're angry too..." No, no. He should be figuring out how to knock her out. Something. If she takes his eyes, who knows if she'll want to hurt him in other ways as well.

He'd tried running... now that, that just pissed her off. Couldn't he see that they were supposed to be together? She was going to take his eyes because he'd been looking at others; should she take his legs, too, so he could never leave her...?
She'd cross that bridge when she came to it, she supposes. For now, she just pulls the trigger to fire off another Bufudyne.

Akihiko picked up his head and stared at the persona on horseback. Though all he would be able to say were more stupid flirts, inwardly he was relieved. Shinjiro was there, even though he couldn't quite see him at the moment. The two of them could incapacitate Mitsuru somehow, he was certain. That is, if his mouth wouldn't get him in trouble first.
"My knight in shining armor..."

[Castor had taken the hit. Mitsuru knows she ought to be surprised to see that particular Persona, and on some level she is, but there's something in her that causes her to be more angry than shocked. She turns to narrow her eyes at Shinjiro.]
Why have you chosen to interfere?
[Oh gee Mitsuru, I wonder...]
