Summary: Gawain’s first day at the tower and his under a love struck feeling.

[ Gawain had been looking around the area by the room he was placed in. While it unsettling he didn’t let it get to him, showing emotions over something like this was a move that could put him in danger if this place was still in the Moon cell. ]

Where is Leo at a time like this?

[ The knight was starting to get worried, without his master he was just a little duck waiting to be prayed on. He couldn’t stand the idea of being taken out leaving his master without a servant to win the war. ]

Cafeteria

[ A little bit later Gawain was sitting in the cafeteria, he didn’t complain about the food he was given and ate the oatmeal in silence for the most part. ]

Floor 25 (effected by the music event, #1 crush music)

[ After his meal Gawain had come across a weird tape that played music, he paid no mind to it and went to the 25th floor in order to clear his head for a little while. Only now he was feeling a little off, though he couldn’t put his finger on it as long as he didn’t run in to anyone it would be fine he just needed to be alone for a while and let it pass. ]

[Tohko, after finishing up with her library duties, decided to relax and read in the meadow floor, since she hadn't gotten much reading done the last time she went up there.

So, carrying a copy of Good Omens and a copy of The Book of Tea, she headed up to the meadow. However, when she saw a blond-haired man wearing some armor, she couldn't help but stop, just to say hello.]

Good morning! How are you?

I'm quite fine this morning, though it doesn't matter how I'm feeling since my mood has already improved due to talking to a wonderful lady like yourself.

[Well..that was an odd comment, but Tohko could deal with it. After all, she was a bit odd herself.]

Well..I'm not quite sure why you think I'm wonderful, but I am glad that you're feeling well.

..By the way, what's your name? I don't think I've seen you before in the Tower.

I just arrived not to long ago, it seems like a few people thought it was only a matter of time before I showed up though.

I'm Sir Gawain, a knight of the round table.

[Another new Servant..]

Well, a lot of Servants have been showing up recently..but it's nice to meet you, Gawain! I'm Tohko Amano, the book girl. If you want, I could tell you what I know about the Tower. That way, you'll know what you're up against!

It is very nice to meet you Ms. Amano. That would be very helpful, I need to figure out how this place works.

Oh, you don't have to call me 'Ms. Amano'! Just call me Tohko. As for the Tower..

[Tohko thought to herself as she gave her usual infodump.]

The Tower is called Animus, and it's run by five people: Dax, who is a pretty humane person, Jason, who loves experimenting and torturing the residents, Riki, a secretive fellow who manages the records and builds the Tower, Zo, a small boy, and Ruana, a childish immortal with strange powers.

They will all lie to you, so take everything they say with a grain of salt. Also, your universe hasn't been destroyed! There are several people here who wouldn't be able to exist if their universes were destroyed, so don't worry. Your universe is fine.

Monsters roam the hallways at night. I don't think you'll have any trouble, but just be careful. Death is not permanent here. If you die, you'll just wake up in your bed the next day. However, I imagine that if you die too many times, you'll get punished, so please be careful.

If you haven't been to the cafeteria yet, make sure you eat the oatmeal when you do. If you don't, you'll throw up anything else you try to eat before you finish it. However, you can add things to it to improve the taste, and other people can eat it with you.

[Tohko then nodded to herself.]

I don't have any questions, that was quite informative. I will stay take death seriously even if it is as you say. I do have my pride to uphold and dieing will only bring shame to me.

It's good that you will take it seriously, shame or not. They could punish you if you try to die too many times, after all.

If there is a time that punishment does happen to me I will except it, rules and order are put in place for a reason.

..I'm not sure if there's any good reason for a punishment to be put into place for that.

Well death isn't something to take likely so a punishment for abusing it seems a useful rule to have in place.

Maybe..but, knowing our Administrators, the punishment would probably be an unfair one..and it's not like many people would listen to it anyway.

That might be true, but it's very important to try and follow guidelines and rules. It's just like following guidelines one has made for themselves.

[Tohko smiled, thinking of her own guidelines. Back in her own world, not many people knew her secret. So many people here knew in comparison.]

..Sometimes, even those guidelines have to be changed.

That is true in some cases, but I'm sure such a nice girl like yourself wouldn't have to change anything.

[Tohko looked a bit puzzled at that before sighing.]

..There are always ways one can be changed for the better. I'm not an exception..but I am glad that you think I'm nice.

Anyone who helps out someone who is clueless can only be nice.

Ah I didn't mean it like that, change for the better is something that even I strive to do, though in the past I haven't be able to do so.

Oh, you're not clueless! If you were truly clueless, you probably wouldn't understand my explanations.

And I don't mean to pry, but..why haven't you been able to do so in the past?

Various reasons, anger is a very powerful emotion that makes it hard to see the bigger picture.

That's true..which is why it's always important to try and stay calm so you don't lose sight of everything. What did make you lose track of the forest, if you don't mind my asking?

Well I lost track of my friendship with someone because they did something that goes against my own values and I took it out on everyone.

[At that, Tohko sighed and nodded. So his life matched with the legend. Sometimes, you couldn't tell with Servants. If Gawain would allow it, Tohko would pat him on the head.]

I see..I know that happened long ago, so it may be impossible to apologize and make it up to everyone..but hopefully you'll be a bit more careful next time.

Even if I were to apologize one of the people dear to me wouldn't agree with the path I'm current on.

[ Since well his king wouldn't like the idea of him being a servant in the grail war now. ]

Do you mean a morality path? Or the fact that you're a servant?
