Summary: Gawain’s first day at the tower and his under a love struck feeling.

Hallway around 3-06

[ Gawain had been looking around the area by the room he was placed in. While it unsettling he didn’t let it get to him, showing emotions over something like this was a move that could put him in danger if this place was still in the Moon cell. ]

Where is Leo at a time like this?

[ The knight was starting to get worried, without his master he was just a little duck waiting to be prayed on. He couldn’t stand the idea of being taken out leaving his master without a servant to win the war. ]

Cafeteria

[ A little bit later Gawain was sitting in the cafeteria, he didn’t complain about the food he was given and ate the oatmeal in silence for the most part. ]

Floor 25 (effected by the music event, #1 crush music)

[ After his meal Gawain had come across a weird tape that played music, he paid no mind to it and went to the 25th floor in order to clear his head for a little while. Only now he was feeling a little off, though he couldn’t put his finger on it as long as he didn’t run in to anyone it would be fine he just needed to be alone for a while and let it pass. ]

Fuyuki is a city in the country of Japan. It is important to most of the servants here because that is where our Holy Grail War took place.

[Diarmuid pauses. If this man doesn't know Fuyuki can it be he is a servant from the same odd war the new Rider had been from?]

If you don't recognize Fuyuki, does the word 'Mooncell' mean anything to you? Another servant arrived recently from a war much larger than the ones most of us are familiar with. She made the war sound like a tournament of some kind with deletion being the result of failure instead of death.

The Mooncell is all to familiar for me, what did that servant look like? Was she in red and have blonde hair? If so, bring her to me right away I have a match to settle.

She wore red, but was not blond. Indeed, her hair was as red as her clothing.

[What clothing there was...]

She told me her class was Rider. She also has a scar on her face like so.

That pirate women, she was taken out quite early. I had talked to her maybe once or twice during the first week but she was not the target I had to fight.

Yes, she said she was a pirate. It was her justification for her...behavior.

[Diarmuid shakes his head and then looks at the other man with curious eyes.]

So your war really was more like a tournament that a war. It is hard for me to imagine so many participants. Most wars have only 7 teams.

The same could be said about your war, but it doesn't really matter now since we're no longer in a war right now.

[A slight smile crosses Diarmuid's tired face.]

Yes, and I am relived to hear you say so. There is no Grail here and it would be foolish for us to act as if there were. Some do and I feel it's a waste of energy that could be better spent helping others or learning about our captors.

I rather not fight if there is no need, as you said it is a waste of energy. We could be doing other things that would be useful instead of creating more bloodshed.

Indeed. It sounds as if you are already making plans. If you have no further questions for me, I will leave you to your meal--if it can even be called that.

[Diarmud pauses, turning to go, but then stops suddenly.]

When you have the time, there is a servant named Ruler who you should find and talk to. She has taken it upon herself to help organize and keep track of the masters and servants in the tower. She won't ask much of you, but she will, I'm sure, be appreciative of the introduction.

Ruler? I've never heard of such a class before. Must be something from a different war with a different system I take it...

[ Gawain nods and gives Diarmuid a small smile, at least there is one other person in the tower he can talk to now. ]

Never the less I will take your idea and meet with her when I get the chance.

It's a class I am unfamiliar with as well, but apparently she served a similar function in her own war, so it must be much different from those either of us are familiar with if servants are being allowed to have that kind of power over the war.

[Diarmuid takes a step back from the table and then bows to the servant.]
