Summary: Having just lately arrived, Sir Lancelot is in search of his Master
Warnings: No Warnings at Present. Unless you are a Monster, then look out.

Your world has been destroyed...

Lancelot, for he knows himself at the moment, is largely unmoved by the strange letters. He destroyed his own world long ago.

At the moment he is more concerned with his immediate surroundings, the mysterious clothing (and the collar) on his body, and the absence of his Master. His last memories before waking are of fire, of wind, and of thwarted rage. But he feels nothing now save a grim wariness. If this is indeed a Reality Marble, it is a mysterious one, and might contain anything. If an event caused by the Grail itself, then he can only meet what will come. If a device of his Master's-- Lancelot finds himself less than pleased with the idea.

Alone in the room where he has woken, he wastes no time in materializing his armor, and, as the situation seems an unusually urgent one, his sword. Both are as black as ever. His helm he leaves, as in carrying his blade he will be known regardless. He does not open the chest.

Reaching out to his Master, Lancelot is gratified to detect a faint pull. He will follow it, wherever it leads.

The Dormitory Hallways
Lancelot makes his way along the hallways nearby, but not limited to, 3-02. Any monsters he encounters, he will fight and slay. Any people he encounters, he will speak with.

The Cafeteria
Unable to pinpoint his Master's location, Lancelot proceeds to the bottom of the Tower. He is intrigued by the Cafeteria, and also by the idea of eating, which he has not done since he was living. He finds the idea of eating food in this place to be problematic, as he wonders if it might not be cursed or enchanted in some way. Being reared by Faeries will leave one with such ideas. Still, he's aware how important it can be to abide by the rules of magic in a possibly magical place. You'll find him stirring his oatmeal contemplatively.

Floor 10: The Aquarium
In the midst of continuing his search, Lancelot is distracted in the Aquarium. Water draws him like nothing else. He finds it calming, even now, in spite of his agitation at following his Master's poor prana signature. This water, obviously enchanted as it is not contained, is full of life. He shouldn't dally long here, but the sight is lovely, and it's difficult to resist stopping a moment.

Floor 25: The Meadow
This would indeed be an odd place for Lancelot to find his Master. Usually, the magus huddles unseen in dark corners, sewers, alleyways, and the like. He's searched in such places, and slain some few Monsters in the process, but has yet to find his Master. Still, there is a refreshing breeze here, and no obvious threat.

[Lancelot greets this unsolicited advice with a blank stare. He had taken quite enough advantage in his natural life, really. He doesn't intend to make a second trial here, in this place.]

I am his Servant, yes.
It is fortunate that he has made such a powerful ally in you, Cu Chulainn.

[The man's grin is somewhat puzzling to Lancelot, as he does not see anything so worthy of the expression in being a friend to his Master, such as he is.]

If you know where he may be found, I pray you will tell me. I came to this place from Battle, and I would speak with him, as I thought him near death when I was taken.

He's fine right now. Well, as fine as he can be.

[There's still the matter of the worms.]

He's usually over on the quieter floors, like the meadow. Or he could be in his room. I'll show you.

I would have thought to find him somewhere more shadowed and dank then a Meadow.
[Lancelot's tone is dry in the extreme.]

Though I am glad to know that he is not as weak as he was when last I had knowledge of him.
[He makes to walk with Cu Chulainn.]

And what of you, Cu Chulainn? Though we are not at War, have you a Master in this place?

Why?

[Kariya didn't strike Lancer as the type to crouch in some dark corner.]

It really depends. He's pretty strong when it comes to his will, but his body is really frail.

And yeah, I've got a Master. She's a great woman. Pretty nice Master too.

You are fortunate indeed, then.
[He and his Master hardly know of one another. His gifts as a strategist are wasted.]

Commonly in Battle, and at most other times, he secrets himself away so that he can remain unseen-- by other Masters, or the citizenry. Most often he keeps below ground, or in dark alleyways. As he banishes me outside of Battle, I would be unable to aid him, if I had a mind to do so.

He is frail, yes. His will I am well-acquainted with. Though I think it is not always wisely directed.

He has no reason to hide himself, not when there is no Grail War.

[And definitely not when everyone knows about the Grail War thanks to a slip-up from Waver Velvet.]

And you'll find everyone else here is also far from just normal humans.

I suppose he does not. I confess, I do not know the man as well as I might.
[Ah well, doubtless Kariya has revealed his class, so why should he not speak of it?]
The Enhancement I am more usually under makes ill-suited companions of us both, Master and Berserker.

[Lancelot has already met and slain several new and exciting types of monsters, and had a few conversations with Tower residents. But the chance to talk with another Knight (and one not of Arthur's court) is a welcome thing.]

There must be a great many strange creatures here-- tell me some of what you have seen, Cu Chulainn.

Berserker.

[He repeats the name, frowning a little. While Lancelot was undoubtedly a loyal knight and good Servant, his class meant that he would drain a great amount of prana. Probably more than Kariya can provide.]

[However, the next question snaps him out of this trail of thought.]

Well, there's these weird imps. And I saw something that looked like a jumble of snakes once. And crows too. I hate crows

So I was summoned.
[Lancelot believes the Class suits him, devoid of honor and reason as it is.]

But yes, I have seen creatures that seem Fae to me in this place. Do these imps differ to you from imps you have seen before?

[Lancelot has heard many superstitions among Knights, but this is the first he has heard of a hatred of crows. He seems genuinely, if mildly, surprised.]

Wherefore should you hate crows, Cu Chulainn?

They're pretty different. Look like hunched little men in the light, look like some sort of cat monsters at night.

[He makes a face.]

Morrigan is a horrible bitch, that's why.

[Lancelot feels a bit awed, after all, for him its as if an enchanted, talking book of tales were being familiar with him.]

Ah, I had forgotten the crow. Your pardon-- I have heard how she led you to your fall after you had scorned her. It was a great pity, to be sure.

The imps do indeed sound to have a Fae aspect, though I suspect they may not be as wholesome even as that. A nest of snakes I have not seen, though I have slain worse than that already.

[Meanwhile, Lancer hasn't quite noticed Lancelot's awe. He just keeps on talking as if they were both normal modern day people.]

The snakes aren't bad. It's killing them that's the real pain in the ass. You see, they've got their weird gem and you have to destroy all shards of it to make the snakes stop.

I see-- I had not known their weakness, but I will remember it, should I encounter them.

He walks beside the man, happy enough to be lead for the moment.

Tell me, Cu Chulainn, when was it you last fought a well-matched opponent-- for the Grail or for any other reason?

I'd have to say it was two or three months ago. I fought this blonde guy in a meadow. We were pretty closely matched.

[He throws the other knight a mischievous grin.]

What, you interested in a spar sometime?

[The man's grin is infectious, though his own smile in return is slightly more subdued.]

That I am, Cu Chulainn, with armor, or without. I would consider it an honor.

Me too. How about we try it sometime next week? After you find your Master?

I welcome the day, Cu Chulainn. I shall seek you out-- the choice of field I leave to you, as you know this place better than I.

I'll pick a good place. Fair and open. Neither of us will be getting an unfair boost from terrain. How does that sound?

[Lancelot seems almost pleasedeven though he has not yet found his Master. Though with good direction, he soon will.]
