I don't mind it that much, honestly. I mean... I'd like to get back to my city because I have a job to do there, but the people I've met since leaving it are usually a lot better than the people I've mostly dealt with at home.

How so? Was everyone grouchy back home?

I grew up in the yakuza, if you know what that is.

I can definitely see why everything else is nicer.

Though, you still gotta keep your eyes open. Monster aren't that strong, but they're annoying.

Yeah, though at least monsters usually aren't out to manipulate you. A lot of people are.

I wouldn't say a lot of them. I've only met a few manipulative assholes.

Most of the people I grew up with were willing to backstab their way to the top. That's not my style, but I wasn't raised to be in charge.
