Setting: 5-06 | a hallway | floor thirty-eight
Format: action!
Summary: Hibiki being generally dumb with his Pokemon.
Warnings: fire, static electricity, fire
[Despite sleeping in here every night, Hibiki realizes he's never formally met his roommates. He doesn't even know who they are. Sighing, he flips over to his stomach and buries his face in his pillow.]
Ughhghghghhh...Typhlooooooooosion..
[And of all things he decided to do today, he decided to stay in bed. GOOD JOB, BOY. He skipped a few phases, already in that teen-stage of laziness. Typhlosion plops his head by the pillow, its breathe ruffling his hair.]
I'm bored. Is this what it's like to be a potato? [That was really deep, how he came up with such a thought is beyond him. Typhlosion just rolls its eyes and lets out a snort at his trainer's melodramatic antics. Honestly. Wait, is that a spark?
Oh crud! Typhlosion, learn to control your fire! Oh crud, oh crud, oh crud--Hibiki shoots right up and slides off his bed, tugging his pillow with him. He holds it at arm's distance and watches it burn. Burn until the entire pillow is reduced to ashes. Great.]
You think one of my roomies will let me "borrow" their pillow?
[There's nothing unusual about a kid and a tall yellow creature just goofing around in the middle of the hallway. Nope, completely normal that all they're doing is just poking? each other. But at a closer glance, it appears that Hibiki is jumping every time Ampharos touches him and all the yellow thing is doing is laughing at him!
The joys of static electricity.
He didn't really mean to do this, while walking down a hallway no less, but Ampharos totally started it and, well, he couldn't take it lying down. So they're strolling down the hall shocking each other and obviously not paying attention to what's in front of them. So Hibiki goes to shock Ampharos back, but something's off.
This doesn't feel like Ampharos.
OOPS.]
[Relaxing is always a good way to pass the time, especially on ginormous couches...on a giant, fluffy, warm dog. So comfortable. He didn't want to move, but if he stayed here any longer he'd fall asleep. And then the day would be gone! Can't have that, what kind of adventurer would he be?
Then again..Arcanine is really warm....Hibiki could feel his eyelids getting heavy, sleep was practically screaming his name. But suddenly--WHAM! Wha?! A cushion? He shoots right up and looks around, nobody! Wait...He slowly turns to look at his Pokemon and he swears Arcanine is grinning. Oooh, luring him into a false sense of security and striking when he least expected it, huh? Well two could play at this game!
Hibiki leaps off and suddenly cushions are flying and the two of them are jumping from armchair to armchair to couch and so on. So watch out if you walk in..!]

Floor 38
[Equius really doesn't have the energy to deal with this right now. So, for a little while after entering Floor 38, he just kind of stands there, watching Hibiki and the Arcanine engage in the respectable act of breaking every single piece of furniture in the entire goddamn room. After a while, though, he's forced to start moving; though he was standing in the corner of the room, a cushion just went flying his way, and he dodged it instinctively. There have been many cushion-shaped objects in his life that brought far more suffering than they ought to have, and he wouldn't be surprised if some of them showed up in the Tower.]
[At least that movement spurred him to say something.]

So here he is, staring up at Equius upside down and on the floor. What a sight this must be. And at least Arcanine calmed down a bit, making himself comfortable on an armchair.]
