Summary: Ishimaru finally does what he's been threatening to do since he got here.
Warnings: violence and murder!

There truly wasn't a single person alive in the tower that Ishimaru hated more than Oowada Mondo. Since the moment they'd met, he'd been nothing but a nuisance. Flouting the rules, Skipping class and detention, and worst of all, stealing away the attentions of his brother. Everything about how he presented himself was inexcusable. If he'd died with any regrets at all, one of the utmost ones was that he'd done so without punishing Mondo.

As soon as he'd become aware of Mondo being here as well, he knew he couldn't let this second chance go to waste. It had been delayed by the whole mix-up with that second version of himself... But that was resolved now, so what was he waiting for? He had more than enough charges to convict the gang leader. He had even encouraged ishimaru to try it!

So he'd headed down to Mondo's room, only to find no one was there. But that's ok. He can wait. When Mondo returns to his room later, he'll find that there's already someone there! Sitting stiffly on the end of his bed, sword at his side and a stuffed Monobear on his lap.

"It's about time you showed up, Oowada-kun."

Ishimaru pulls a perfectly folded piece of notepaper from his breast pocket. He unfolds it carefully and begins reading from it in a matter-of-fact voice.

"Mondo Oowada, 18 years old, Hopes Peak's 316th class. Record of Demerits." he pauses for a moment before continuing, glancing up at Mondo.

"Inexcused absences, 76 counts;
Inexcused tardies, 32 counts;
Failure to attend detention, 29 counts;
Smoking on school property, 34 counts;
Improper language, 231 counts;
Failure to follow orders given by a school official, 45 counts;
Second degree murder, 1 count;
Cannibalism, 1 count;
Theft, 1 count." Ishimaru looks up then, seemingly finished with his list as he folds it back up and places it back in his pocket. The look on his face is inscrutable. He seems to be 100% serious about the entire situation.

For a moment all Mondo can do is gape. This guy actually bothered to dig up his school record? That's weirder than the guy who said he had Mondo's police record.

"Wait-- what're the murder, cannibalism and theft?! How'd you even know all that?!"

Ishimaru smiles that unsettling crooked smile of his, "You really are a slow one, Oowada-kun. Do I have to explain everything to you?" He sighs, "other than the last three, these demerits are all from your official record during our two years together at the Academy. So of course I'd remember them." In fact he'd practically memorized them, as the majority of them he'd added to Mondo's record himself.

"As for the murder, you told me yourself that you murdered Fujisaki-kun, so I really shouldn't have to explain that one! And the cannibalism, didn't we have a nice little discussion about your incident of such a few weeks ago?" The look he's fixing Mondo with is almost patronizing. He can't believe he actually has to explain all this!

His expression goes serious again at this point, though. "As for the theft... Ah, I suppose that's more of a personal issue of mine. My brother may not be here, but you are still the person who stole him from me."

He bites his lip. It's true about Chihiro, even if he was already punished for that, being the entire reason he ate that butter, but then...he came to the tower, so he didn't really die, maybe it wasn't a proper punishment. But everything else...

"Well, sure, with Fujisaki, but how's the rest my fucking fault?!"

Wait-- what did Ishimaru say? Their two years together at the academy? Mondo's no genius, but even he knows it's impossible they were trapped in the school for two years, and there wasn't any school going on.

"The hell're you on, never went to school with you! Got trapped in that school for like a month, maybe?"

Ishimaru laughs. "Oh, of course, if you were executed after Fujisaki's murder you wouldn't remember. How silly of me. All of you had your memories erased. Before everyone was locked into the school, you had all been classmates for two years! The people who you thought were total strangers were actually your dear friends! Upupu... It's utterly despair-inducing to think about, isn't it?"

"Y-you think I'm gonna believe that?! Ain't some fucking idiot...!!"

He stumbles back a few steps, gritting his teeth. There's no way--it was bad enough already, everything that happened, not just what he did, the entire situation, so he definitely can't accept that they might have all been close before it. That he could forget a friend and look at them as a stranger just seems so wrong, isn't that somehow related to breaking a promise?

"It doesn't matter if you don't believe it. That won't change the fact that it's true. Togami-kun seemed like he knew the identity of the mastermind in your universe, you can ask him to confirm it if you like."

At this point he pulls his sword out of it's sheath. He's not quite done speaking yet, though, so he's not in a fighting stance at the moment. "Regardless, the most severe crimes are the last three, and you can't deny those, can you?"

"Sure I can!! Didn't eat nobody and sure as hell didn't steal your brother - 'cause he ain't your brother!"

He cracks his neck to get ready to fight, fully intending to...but wearing that uniform will almost certainly change his mind when it actually comes down to it.

"Regardless of whether you were aware of it or not, you still ate the butter made from your body! And I'm not talking about the one that's here. I'm speaking of my actual brother. Please try to keep up, Oowada-kun."

Ishimaru had certainly made a conscious decision to wear this uniform to come meet Mondo. Sure he talked big, he'd probably say he was fully capable of fighting someone that looked just like his "brother," but Mondo Oowada, deep down, was a soft person, and this Ishimaru knew it.

"If you're from some other world or some shit, what's that got to do with me?! And ain't it bad enough I had to find out what that shit was made of?! You're all talk anyway!"

Ishimaru seems to think for a minute. "Fine then. I'll just punish you for the rest. Especially since you don't seem to understand how serious I am."

He puts himself in a ready stance. "I'll even let you make the first move, Oowada-kun!"

"Wh--no way, if I hit you first, gives you a reason to go for me!"

Besides, he looks like his brother. Mondo's the one who would need some real provoking to be able to hit him.

Ishimaru laughs again. "I would have a reason to hit you anyway, Oowada-kun! After all, out of everyone in the world, I hate you the most!" The way he says it, it practically sounds like a love confession. A sick, twisted love confession.

"But if you insist, I certainly don't mind!" There's a manic excitement in Ishimaru's demeanor now, and he lunges forward, swinging his sword towards Mondo's side.

Mondo curses under his breath, having held out some hope Ishimaru might have decided against it. He tries to at least defend himself, reaching out for Ishimaru's arm.

He should probably have just moved, because the sword still lays a sizeable cut in his side. He hadn't predicted Mondo doing something dumb like grabbing him, though, so Mondo at least succeeds in doing that.

Ishimaru is not amused by this! He tries to pull away, but Mondo is, overall, stronger than he is. "What are you doing, Oowada-kun? Let go of me."

He flinches as the blade sinks into him, biting down on the corner of his mouth.

"What d'you think I'm doing? You want me to just let you cut me up, bastard?"

"Of course not. That'd be no fun at all. You're supposed to fight back! Punch me in the face or something! What you're doing right now is just counterproductive." Ishimaru says all this as if it's the most obvious thing in the universe. And to him, it is! He's still trying to pull loose of Mondo. He may not be as strong, but he's bound to wrench himself loose eventually.

"Maybe when you give me a good reason."

He lets go abruptly and gives Ishimaru a shove backwards.

Ishimaru catches himself, and takes a moment to get his bearing back. "Interesting. You really are soft, Oowada-kun! Me attacking you isn't enough of a reason?"

Speaking of, he's coming at him again, this time aiming a kick at the wound he made a moment ago.

"Who're you calling soft, aa?!"

Mondo glares at Ishimaru - no, he's definitely not 'soft', he's strong, way stronger than this guy, and he's not going to get pushed around! He curls his fingers into a fist, taking a swing at Ishimaru's chin as he's momentarily lost in anger and insecurity.

Wow, Mondo you're just full of surprises! His punch hits Ishimaru square in the jaw, sending him sprawling. He doesn't drop his sword though, unfortunately.

There's a momentary look of pain and shock on his face, but it's quickly replaced by amusement. "Hah! Now that's more like it!" He says this even as blood flows out of the corner of his mouth. No big deal. He hops back to his feet, unfazed. "But I think you can do better than that."

"Do I got to teach you to stay down?!"

He grits his teeth, desperately trying to get over that moment of distress on 'his brother's' face.

"You're welcome to try, Oowada-kun! But I'll remind you how poorly our last encounter of this kind ended for you." You know, with you lying immobile on the floor, bleeding.

But no matter, clearly he needed a reminder! So Ishimaru's going to come at him again, aiming his sword to stab at Mondo's chest, but at the last moment changing it's direction to be pointed right at one of Mondo's thighs.

Mondo curses, entirely forgetting to prepare himself even for the intended direction, much less where it ended up. He knows he has to get over the two Ishimarus looking just the same, but he just can't. It would be the same if it was a monster taking the shape of Daiya, or his roommates (save for Richtofen), or anyone else he's close to.

He clamps a hand over his thigh, backing up against the wall for support.

Ishimaru of course knows this, his Oowada had the same problem with not being able to completely get over his appearance. And now Mondo's even conveniently given himself no leeway to back away from him! It seems he's having trouble standing now that his leg is hurt again. That's ok, Ishimaru can help. Mondo won't be able to fall down in he's pinned to the wall, after all. So he's just going to try to drive his sword through Mondo's shoulder to accomplish that task.

"You seem distressed, Oowada-kun. I do hope you aren't holding back on me because of my appearance."
