When Luke brings his sword down on the club, it doesn't break, and it absorbs some of the shock, but the Moblin still takes damage. It's paralyzed for the duration of the attack, but as soon as it's able to move again, it stumbles back a few steps, then swings out blindly with the club.
Sheba's staff connects with the Moblin's club, and her vapors get released. The Moblin inhales a good bit of it, and the vaguely boar-like screeches it makes indicate that the poison caused it some irritation. However, it doesn't stall in its assault, raising its club with the intent to bring it down on Sheba's head.]
