Characters: Madoka Kaname [AU1] and OPEN
Setting: Madoka's room, floors thirteen.
Format: action spam
Summary: Shaken by recent events, Madoka has a long discussion with her other self.
Warnings: Mild angst, mentions of death and related matters.

[After the revelations of the past week or so, Madoka's nights had been racked with horrible visions of death and decay. Not merely linked to the fact that her home may, in fact, have been destroyed and all who inhabit it rung from the mortal coil without a second thought. The thought was devastating enough on it's own, but had become bonded with her other half's concern's as well. Kremhild Gretchen wore upon her amorphous shoulder's the title of Witch of Salvation,  a name befitting one thought the best way to end the suffering of others was to kill them.

It wasn't the destruction of her homeworld that had bothered Gretchen so, as such whole sale death actually appealed to her twisted sense of justice, but rather the fact that that those in charge of the Tower had forbid all those they had kidnapped from dying. Without death, her ideals stated, the suffering of all those trapped within the tower would never come to an end. Nothing had ever made her angrier. Wishing to lash out against the people who had constructed such a horrible system, she had begun to plant more and more destructive impulses within Madoka's mind, leading to several sleepless night spent staring at the her room's ceiling.

Something had to be done or the future would be a bleak one for the both of them. That in mind, Madoka, wearing the heavy eyes and disheveled hair of a girl who had not slept in days, left her room in hopes of finding a place to sit and have a nice long chat with Gretchen.]

[After a short search, Madoka settled on the Tower's chapel as the site of her discussion with Gretchen. Due to both it's size and the fact that sound carried very poorly within the structure, it was unlikely that anyone would bother her. Sitting in a seat far from the floor's entrance Madoka, in her witch form, making no effort to hide her inhuman nature, sat and spoke to herself or rather, with herself.

Her words are slow and deliberate, as if she had rehearsed her speech for quite sometime. Mostly relating to events around the tower as of late, and the various messages that Gretchen had planted into her head a result of them, Madoka's words were laced with a mixture of anger and sorrow. She wanted to do something about all of this, she really did, but the witch's way was not her own. Killing those who had perpetuated such crimes would make her no better then them.

Passionate almost to a fault, it would be unlikely that the half-witch would notice anyone intruding on her little heart-to-heart talk.]
