Summary: Unaware of the significance of March 5th, Minato set off to explore more of the tower. All seem well, until he reach the poppy field…

Floor 82 – Masked Masquerade
[Minato’s walk eventually lead him to the masquerade. With a blink, he touched the mask that’s suddenly on his face. Then he slowly pull it off, blinking in surprise.

Well, that’s easy.]

...It’s too easy.

[What’s unknown to him, however, that Minato will have to answer one question truthfully for anyone who asked him...]

Floor 87 – Poppy Field
[After what happened at the masquerade, he exited the floor and continue on before he get another mask on him.

The field of poppy. The most he looked, the more peaceful this floor seem to look. He walked through the field, slowly loosening his grip on his sword.

The longer he walks, the more tired he feels. Ah, it’s been a rather long day. A nap sounds rather nice about now. The more cautious side of him urge him to go back to the dorms, but the sleepiness was too much for him.

He stopped and sat down on the ground, laying his sword down beside him and continually nodding off. Any longer and he will lie down on the ground as well.]

[Rei bounces into the poppy field. It's quite a pretty place, and given that it's spring, she wants to find a place with lots and lots of flowers to decorate her room with.]

Heee~ey! Wha'cha doin'?

[She greets the boy who's already in the middle of the field.]

[Minato blinks and glance over, his mind belatedly registered her voice.]

...'m just walking around.

[He seems rather tired.]

Me too!

[She's not tired enough to yawn yet, even if she feels less energetic than before.]

This is a really good place to take a walk. Look at all these flowers.

It really is. The flowers and scenery are very beautiful and peaceful.

[If he's more awake, he'd note about how it seems too peaceful. It's not like the meadow floor in some way.]

They're really lovely. I didn't have anything like it back home.

[She bends down, picks two poppies, and places them right in front of her eyes so it looks like she has poppies growing out of her face.]

Look! They're the same color, aren't they?

[He move closer to take a closer look. Which isn't really necessary, but it's a way to feign interest just for fun.]

Hm...yes, I think they're the same colour as well. If they're not, you can hardly see a difference.

[She nods and drops the poppies, then leans forward to look at Minato's eyes. She has to steady herself when she almost tips over onto him.]

Too bad there's only poppies and no violets. Then we could've matched your eyes too.

[If she falls, Minato would probably try to catch her. 'Try' being the keyword, since he's pretty tired.

But he did smile at her last comment.

Maybe they can only grow poppies here? Or the admins think it's better to have one type of flower here.

[She slowly stoops down and runs her fingers along the petals of a flower. It's tiring to stand.]

It does look very pretty with only one type of flower. Especially since the poppies are nowhere else.

[He crouches down near her, watching her fingers.]

Yeah...now that I think about it, I haven't seen them in the other floors?

[After a moment, Minato shifts to sit down.]

I wonder if they only found the seeds recently. Or if they had to grow them in a certain weather...

[She closes her eyes, just for a moment.]

Or if they made this floor to celebrate something.

To celebrate...

[Minato think back for a moment. But it's somewhat hard to remember what the poppies are usually used for.]

I know some countries use poppies for remembrance.

What do you think they were trying to remember then? Is this like the graveyard floor? Remembering people who left? Or were they trying to remember something else. Something that can't be marked with graves.

People who died in wars. I think they're soldiers. [Poppies, death.] And there's something else...but I can't quite remember.

I don't think there's any war here...

[She yawns. Population vs administrators wasn't a "war," was it? At least, it wasn't one of those super grim-and-gritty ones.]

Not big ones, I think.

[He leans back, looking at the sky. Mm, there are people who want to overthrow the administrators, but it's not a war. Yet.]

Remembering, peace, death...and something else...

[She lies down, letting her face almost sink beneath the flowers.]

Beauty? Love?

[She raises a hand to rub at her eyes.]

No, not those.

[Man, the ground's nice and comfortable. He finally lies down on his back, placing his sword next to him.]

I think it's...[Yawn.] ...sleep?

Sleep...yeah. Sleep sounds good.

[She mutters, no longer able to keep her eyes open. It's a little easier to see her face with her eyes closed--there are now splotches of white skin peeking out from gaps in the field of red.]

[> You're feeling tired.
The field of poppies gently sways and you can feel them brushing against his hands.

A nap in this beautiful field sound like a good idea...

[Madoka has wandered into the masquerade entirely on accident as she made her way through the tower in search of a new place to indulge in a bit of peace and quiet. The masquerade, with it's occupants dressed in strange garb and masks, was not that place.

Now with a mask of her own, Madoka wanders before finding the blue-haired boy without a mask talking to himself.]

What is?

[Minato turn his attention over to the girl, noting that she's wearing a mask. She probably haven't taken it off yet.]

It's rather easy to take off the mask.

That's weird, I was expecting something horrible to happen.

[With her "what is?" question earlier, Madoka most likely used up the question...

But to Minato, he's unaware of this.]

It seem awfully harmless. Almost suspiciously so.

*Someone else is looking at all the nature floors around. It was nice to avoid the steel walls for a while, sometimes...

When he sees Minato looking rather tired, he assumes he just hasn't been sleeping well after what happened, either. It was still a lot to swallow...*

Are you all right?

[That would be a good reason in most cases. But in this case, Minato has plenty of sleep. Or so he think.

He blinks, tiredly, and glances over at Enoch.]

Mm, I'm alright. I feel a little tired.

*Enoch nods, stifling a yawn himself. Unfortunately, he doesn't exactly realize it's the poppies.*

After everything...I'm not surprised.

[With everything that happened, and what he heard from Yu, there are a number of things on his mind.

Which is slowly decreasing as he yawns.]

Mm, a lot happened... And you? Are you alright?

I am...as well as I can be. I've been tired more often...

*Like now. ...Strange that it's coming on so suddenly. Enoch stifles another yawn.*

[It's rather strange. But Minato still haven't notice what's wrong with his current sleepiness.

Yet.]

...Then you should head back and sleep.

[Which sounds like a good idea. On the other hand, lying down here is also a good idea as well.]

You should, as well...

*Yeah, he probably will wind up going to sleep it off in his room, but...he just wants to make sure Minato gets out safe too.*

I will.

[He smiles, albeit a small, tired one compared to his more awake ones.]

I think I can get back.
