Summary: Newly arrived and quick to shirk heavy duty explanations and get down to the business of exploring. That's Archer for you.

Dormitory 02-12

Waking up to the feeling of not being able to move was not a completely new experience to Gilgamesh, unfortunately enough. After all, it had not been that long ago that he had expended just about all of his prana and then been overtaken by Saber's Excalibur, and waking up from that feeling had not been fun at all.

But he did not remember falling asleep in a bed. Did he even make it to the couch? Either way, he was staring at a ceiling that was unfamiliar, and his head was cushioned in such a way that--

--Ah. And there was the ability to move again. His lips quirk into a frown as he sits up and stares at ... his clothes. What was this thing supposed to be? Whatever it was, he was better off without it, and so he immediately unzipped the skin-tight suit and began tugging the material off of his arms.

Depending on how long it takes for someone to discover the new resident of room 12 on floor 2, he may be stripped down to half-wearing the suit, not wearing the suit at all, or be in the process of changing into a pair of black pants and an orange v-neck shirt.


Various dormitory levels

After getting out of the dorm room, it's time to properly acclimate himself to his surroundings.
That means wandering around. Gilgamesh doesn't really glance at the nameplates as he goes along, instead focusing on how everything looks pretty much the same wherever he goes. Boring.

He can be seen looking at some of the network terminals as he goes along, though he's not yet to the point of actually operating them. Maybe later, after he's gotten a little bored of exploring by foot. On the dormitory first floor, he's even looking at the open elevator with mild curiosity. Because this floor numbering system is downright odd.


Floor 81

A fascinating display.

Gilgamesh cranes his head back as far as his neck allows, taking in the strange view of the tower that seemed to stretch onward beyond earth and the stars. Seated at the window and quiet in his musings, he wonders if this is a view like what the gods could see. Was this the empty space that Enki sliced through in its devastating drive towards earth?

The mere question sends him back to his battle with Saber, and he finds himself scolding Enki for having failed him at such a critical moment. Because muttering to yourself while staring into space is definitely not strange. (But muttering to a pair of golden swords really wouldn't be much better, anyway.)


Various first block floors

The very idea of exploring new surroundings seems to give energy to the golden-haired man's actions. While he has no set destination on any of the floors he visits, he looks confident; a sharp smile never seems too far away from his face. After puzzling out the elevator earlier, it seemed fitting to go out and actually look at some of the floors in between elevator-visited areas.

[ Oh, he's good at this! She hadn't even taken that into consideration yet, so she hums a little. ]

"Goldie" sounds a little cooler though.. "Gold" sounds too much like you're talking about something that's not a human.

[He could probably comment that he wasn't particularly human, but that would diverge from their original topic pretty quickly.]

What comes to mind when you imagine the color gold, then?

[chainsawn]

Let's see.. [ ... give her some thinking time, she's a little slow. But she'll come up with some answer..!! ]

Gold makes me think of.. rich people. I think.

[bowandblade]

Very good. [He has more patience when it comes to kids. ...Or, well, teens who look particularly childish.] It helps that I am quite rich as well. All the world's treasures belong to me.

[chainsawn]

[ Oh! Now that's something she understands, so she ends up looking pretty amazed for a moment. ]

All of them..? But that would be a whole lot of treasures. Doesn't anyone else get to have any?

[bowandblade]

Many of the treasures are scattered throughout the world and sit in the hands of other people now. But they all originally belonged to me. [He says this with utter confidence, pleased and amused by the girl's amazement.]

[chainsawn]

So even the treasures that people have here.. they actually were all yours? [ yup, still totally amazed. Even if it's in her own blank way. ]

Woah...

[bowandblade]

[Ah yes, total amazement is something he will never grow tired of. He reaches out to pat her on the head.]

That is right! Every weapon of myth, every rare item that could be considered a treasure -- their original forms belong in my treasury. It is only a shame that this tower somehow keeps my treasury beyond my reach.

[chainsawn]

That's so rude. [ a pout. ] I wanted to see the treasury.. I bet it's really pretty to look at with all those treasures lined up. I guess it does suit the way you look..

[bowandblade]

[He hums, almost contemplatively, then smiles.]

I may not be able to show my treasury to you in its grandiosity, but I will show you how I would usually access it.

[He snaps his fingers, and a small golden portal appears next to his right hand. The portal emanates its own golden light, but any attempt to reach out to touch it or move a hand into it will result in the hand going right through it.]

[chainsawn]

[ .. Woah. She actually looks pretty impressed (in her own way) as she stares at it with big eyes. But since Urotsuki is Urotsuki, of course she has to try actually touching it. So her hand slowly reaches out for the portal.. only to go right through it.

She frowns a little. ]

You use a fake door..?

[bowandblade]

[He scoffs.] There is nothing fake about it! Only the finest of items may pass through my gates.

[He dismisses the gate, its golden glow fading as the air seems to ripple back into place.] Perhaps you will someday see it in all its splendor, little Urotsuki.

[chainsawn]

[ The moment the gate disappears, she quickly draws her hand back to herself. ]

.. I'll wait for that day then. I'll make sure to stick around here so I can see it..

[bowandblade]

[With a slight nod, he again pats Urotsuki on the head. It was truly a shame that he could not seem to call upon anything without ... well, intent to fling weapons at something. And that was hardly appropriate at the moment.]

Now then, it seems I still have much of this tower to look over. I will have to be on my way.

[chainsawn]

Ah, right.. [ She nods a little. ]

Will I see you again some other time then..?

[bowandblade]

You are in these dormitories as well, yes? I am sure we will see each other around. [He nods firmly, as if he has just made a decision with that statement.]

In the meantime, I will leave you with the task of thinking of a nickname.

[chainsawn]

.. I'll work hard..!

[ There's another burst of strange, blank determination before she nods and turns, walking out of the hallway. ]
