Characters: Mithos Yggdrasill and YOU!
Setting: Cafeteria
Format: I'll follow you.
Summary: Mithos doesn't even bother to go to his dorm room. He heads straight for the cafeteria.
Warnings: Speciesism, though he'll try to behave himself for now. He really, really hates humans.
An angel doesn't need to eat. Or sleep, for that matter, but in a place like this, a place this... well... abnormal, Mithos feels the need to do so now.
He was reminded somewhat of Niflheim. A memory he's long since forgotten and moved on from, and one that doesn't even matter anymore. Aselia was gone. He died, just like Martel, and there was nothing left. All because some idiot humans thought that, despite, four thousand years of being proven right, he was wrong and too near-sighted to see that humans could change. The fact that the world was destroyed upon reuniting them, even after he himself was about to destroy it, was almost poetic irony.
How did it happen? Magitechnology? Maybe Lloyd couldn't handle the amount of power he took for himself upon gaining the Eternal Sword? Maybe Ratatosk still wasn't over being betrayed by him? Who knew. Who even cared anymore. He didn't even have the means to remake the world anymore, if the Eternal Sword was even capable of that. He never tried. He never wanted to try, either. There was only one thing, one person, he wanted, and now, it was forever beyond his grasp.
Mithos stared down at the oatmeal. It was already halfway gone, and it really, really seemed to be disagreeing with his stomach. He almost never ate, and when he did, it was purely for pleasure. This was foul. It almost sounded like how Raine's cooking was described to him. Were they here, too? The people who went down the path he himself refused to follow? If he was here, then... they had to be.
And they'd better have answers.

Um....could I have some of that raisin cereal stuff, please? And some strawberry milk! [She's trying to be polite even though the woman behind the cafeteria isn't being particularly responsive.]

You.
[ He stood up, his fists already clenched. If Colette didn't know who he was, well... he knew her. They could pass for twins, after all. ]
What did you do? Our world is gone. Let me guess, humans started fighting again. Was that it? Magitechnology?
Sorry this is late. XD
I-I'm sorry, do I know you.....?

[ His fists clench. ]
It's me, Mithos!

This boy....his name was really Mithos? And if he was, was he really the one that Presea was talking about?
If so, all that everything about Martel being Mithos’ sister, the Desians, Sylvarant and Tethe’alla being split into two, and so many other things...
Colette placed her hand to her chest. She was not sure what to think about this. This boy was responsible for Cruxis, the Chosen system, the worlds being divided...]
....So you’ve met me before, right? [In her future, that is....]

V/V brought her breakfast tray over to his table. "May I sit here, if that's okay with you?"
no subject
"Umm... sure..." he stammered. He doesn't even take the time to tell if she's a half-elven angel or not.

It's like a gathering of blondes in here...
Enoch himself is oblivious to Mithos's nature - all he sees is yet another young newcomer having trouble with his oatmeal. Though he seems to be doing better than most.
"You don't have much left to eat. It will be all right, after this you can eat whatever you like."
Indeed.
That armor... wasn't lost on him, but he's choosing not to pay it any mind for now. Even Kratos had something similar, it didn't make one an angel. "Why do you care, anyway?"
no subject
"I wasn't aware I needed a reason to care about others' discomfort."
no subject
"What's the real reason?"

Enoch couldn't help but be sympathetic for the poor boy, so used to hate that he doubted even the most basic concern for his troubles...

COMBO BREAKER
Of course, Kariya isn't quite your average passerby, though he probably comes close in the absurd pot-pourri of power in this place. There's something about this boy -- he doesn't think that's prana -- that's making his senses and his Worms both take notice.
He doesn't sit down, but offers a friendly enough smile.]
You might as well pinch your nose and gulp it down. You'll be able to wash it down with something better afterwards.
[Like a nice soda, or maybe something like the small pile of chicken nuggets he happens to be holding.]
[OOC: Let me know if sensing things isn't OK!]
Sorry this is late, orz And it's fine!
I ate worse.
[ Not being outright hostile... yet. Something about this was making his skin crawl. ]
No such thing!!
[He pauses there for now; since his tray isn't that heavy, he can afford to dawdle for a bit and be
meddlesomesolicitous of new arrivals. The disorientation's only just beginning to settle, so he's definitely sympathetic.]no subject
[ He's really done with this disgusting garbage. Anything to make it go by faster would help. He can tolerate it without gagging - anyone who can eat Raine's food and not die deserves a Purple Heart - but this wasn't much better. ]
no subject
[Oatmeal isn't his favorite thing, either -- he can stomach all manner of culinary indignity with a straight face, but why suffer needlessly??
He'd even suggest adding something to it if he were sure that wasn't against the rules.]

Hah, you must be one of the newbies. Surprised that kid's still got time for something like that, what with him having to take charge of this dump.
no subject
[ Sorry, Kyoko, humans don't just randomly come up and stare at half-elves out of boredom where he comes from. As good as those chocolate-filled waffles look, what she says next actually interests him. ]
Wait, what kid? [ Because whoever he is, he's got some serious explaining to do, and Mithos isn't in the mood to ask nicely. ]
no subject
Zo or whatever his name is. That kid that's in charge of bringing people in here, y'know.

He's a pretty normal kid, y'know. Nothing about him really stands out. He's probably hiding out in the control with the rest of them.
[munch munch.]
If you wanna try and get down there, be my guest, but you'd better have a good plan with you.
