[o1] ‸^‸ First Song.
Characters:
ocariness and
towerofanimus!
Setting: 1) Room 2-16, 2) At a random terminal in the Tower, later in the day.
Format: I'm faster with [ action ] but I'll go prose if you want to~
Summary:Let's try this again. Link arrives in the Tower, makes a mess, and explodes a terminal.
Warnings: Technology destruction, ELF PEOPLE, blue chickens? Yeah okay, nothing yet really. Those with weak hearts toward dying computers may desire to look away now.
1)
[ When the sleep paralysis had worn off, Link had, fortunately, been alone in the room. She had read the letter and grabbed her things out of her trunk, immediately setting to work on redressing into her Kokiri clothing, because that white jumpsuit was... far too revealing for her taste.
The collar, when she realized it would not come off, was an irritation. It was clearly some sort of magic device, but how did it WORK? Well, this was less pressing then finding and making sure her things were okay. (Surely Ganondorf hadn't won yet...?)
If her roommates were to return, they'd notice a bit of an... eclectic mess in and around her trunk and bed. All this, of course, after she'd donned her Kokiri clothing and armed herself: Master Sword, mirror shield, fairy bow, full quiver, all equipped. What was she looking for, throwing all these odd objects onto her bed and out of her trunk, anyway? ]
2)
[ Well, by now she's found what she was looking for, and maybe you were passing the Hylian hero by when you heard the BOOM. Or maybe you saw the terminal smoking, due to the arrow that had been fired into it after too many buttons being pressed, causing it to beep loudly. The elf-like perpetrator could be seen slowly edging away from the scene with a small, palm-sized blue chicken in their hands. And good luck figuring out their gender, they're androgyny at it's BEST.
... Perhaps someone should put the small smoking terminal out of its misery before a serious fire starts...? Because Link here is... preoccupied with staring at it. The chicken, meanwhile, makes a small mornful crowing noise.
... Um. Right. Help? ]

Then they're even more worthless than I'd thought possible.
[... But the lack of position, or the lack of respect for his, was positively infuriating. He wants to run her through with his blade; though he stands his ground for a few reasons. The first and most persuasive being the apparent arsenal of weapons at her disclosure (surely this meant he would have to catch her off-guard), and the fact that the Empress had yet to put in word as to what she wanted done with the other species.
He was not making the same mistaken again-- unless absolutely necessary.]
I suggest you hold your tongue 'bout things you don't understand, lest someone does it for you.

But she has gathered her weapons and her bow and her quiver and she stands, completely on guard--and if speaking was what he DIDN'T want, then she would defy this evil person at EVERY turn. ]
... Perhaps you are the one who is worthless. Such views are vile and the mark of inconsideration. I only need understand that you are wrong. Any creature deserves to be treated with consideration and kindness, no matter what, or whom, they may be. ... Though, perhaps I was right in my feelings about you.
[ Her full height is probably nothing in comparison to Dualscar's, but her shield and the Master Sword in hand, she warily eyes him, ready for a fight. ]
Good does not bow to evil. If you want me to be quiet, I'm afraid you're going to have to make me.
[ She is normally shy--she does not speak this much. No, not normally, but this man... no. She does not like him and she WILL state how she feels quite clearly here. ]

His grip on his weapon tightens when she stands, though he still doesn't plan on doing anything to her. Not without orders, or knowing what the Empress's views on this alien race were. Surely, though, she wouldn't care-- with her universal acts of genocide?
But that's what he'd thought last time. Less life meant less subjects to rule, after all, even if they did come back to life. So, action-wise, he merely stares her down, as if this were some primal manner of defending his territory.]
That is not how I meant it, worm. Reserve judgment on that which you know nothin' of-- I can't say others of my species will be as courteous as I've been on the subject.

Then they shall have a fight if they are. It may be true I do not understand entirely how your people work... but I believe I am correct in assuming that you find yourselves superior due to a color?
... I pity you, truly. You must have it difficult, to make so many enemies simply due to your incorrect beliefs. Perhaps I am not the issue here, but rather, your systems are?
[ Her grip tightens, and her whole body posture is tense. She is ready, and willing. The Hero of Time would never fall to someone so vile. ]
