Waking up once more [open]

Characters: Taiki and you
Setting: Room 2-20
Format: I'll match
Summary: After what happened in the fog Enoch brought Taiki back to his room where he slipped into a blood sickness coma, he's missed a lot but is waking up.
Warnings: Traumatised kirin child

The first sign that the poison that had kept Taiki asleep in his bed for the past few weeks was abating was that Sanshi appeared. Taiki had never been so sick that she couldn't manifest before now yet there had been no stirrings of life Kirin or demon from their corner of the room.

"Taiki..." She spoke softly and made her way to the cafeteria to gather any fruit she could find and some water.

By the time she returned Taiki was opening his eyes.

He blinked at the room, confused at why he was here. He couldn't remember going to bed... His head felt heavy and his limbs weak. His eyes were all blurry and it took him a moment to work out what had happened... what he could remember.

And his eyes widened, he gasped, more a sob than everything as he remembered laughing as Gohran killed, and the blood, the fog.

"Taiki it w..." Gohran appeared next to him as a puppy but Taiki scrambled back.

"Go away!" His voice was cracked and hoarse.

"Taiki..." Sanshi had returned from her mission to the cafeteria.

"No! Go away, go away, go away." Taiki was louder than he usually was, shouting as he pulled the covers over his head.

Only when he was certain that his demons had disappeared back into the shadows did he flop back down on the bed and burst into tears.

His expression brightened a bit when Taiki's spirits seem to lift, but thankfully it did not fall as he did; instead, he just looked surprised and stepped inside the room, closing the door behind him and walking over towards Taiki's bed.

"Are you ill?" Hm, that was no good...

"My return was most recent," He says, folding his arms a little and resting them on the very edge of Taiki's bed.

"Is there anything I can do to aid your recovery?"

He chuckled a bit at Taiki's conflict, though it wasn't mean-spirited in the least.

"It is alright; I did not have a problem being back on my own world, though it was very lonely again. This tower may not be the ideal situation, but I appreciate being able to speak with people once more."

The thought hadn't really crossed his mind-- but really, if Taiki was offering, it would be a bit rude to turn him down. So with a small "Ah-- thank you," from his mouth, he climbed up onto the bed near Taiki, making sure not to disturb the boy too much as he moved. Thankfully, Fado didn't take up much space either.

"I do hope this sort of sickness has marked a low point in your time-- how have you been otherwise?"

"I missed you as well, little one."

Of course, the pain of loss in a thousand year old deceased Sage may have been a bit less than the pain in someone so much younger like Taiki.

"But at least we are here now, yes? It is better to think of the present."

"Not yet; I have had a look around a few, but there are so many more than I last remember! It's enough to turn one on their head."

Though considering he knew his way around the Lost Woods and the Wind Temple, he may have a different perspective on the whole 'disorienting' thing.

"Beach?" Fado thought about it for a moment, as if trying the sound of it on his tongue. There had been nothing like that in Hyrule, but beaches were plenty abundant in the Great Sea-- to his understanding. There was one right on his own island, though he'd never really seen it himself.

"I do not believe I have ever seen such a thing like that."

"The land I grew up in was a country of forest and mountains. By the time there was any sand fronts, I had already left."

He's not too beat up about it at least!

"When you are well again, I should like that."
