"At Least He Was Merry.."
Characters: Luffy and you~?
Setting: Floor 100
Format: I'll match whichever you go with! Starting with prose and going from there.
Summary: During his daily exploration of the Tower, Luffy finally makes his way to the 100th floor.
Warnings: Feels, and lots of 'em. No worries of injury or death.
[He had spent a good deal of time walking around the first few floors, not really going beyond the 40th. Not because of fear or because of caution, but because he wasn't really certain how the elevator worked. Simple-mindedness aside, once shown by his room mates how to properly use the machine, Luffy decided it was time to venture out and face what dangers lay in wait for him.
Random button pressing, like that of a small child mashing buttons on a game controller, and Luffy found himself on a floor that made his heart sink like an achor below the waves. Rushing out as the elevator doors went completely ajar his eyes watered as his head shot back and forth, looking every which way to take in the view.]
"Me.. Merry?! But.. But how?!"
[A bright smile appeared on his lips, darting toward the docked Carvall style ship that had taken port on a familiar looking coast. As he grew closer, reality began to sink in, the image of the ship beginning to blur the closer he approached. Reaching a hand out as if he were trying to cross a ribboned finish line, Luffy's hands passed through the side of the ship as if nothing were actually there.
He brought his hand to his eyes, looking the digits over to see if perhaps there was something wrong with them rather than the boat. With a determined look on his face, he swiped at the boat again in an effort to board it.
Again, nothing.
He looked toward the bow of the ship, his eyes becoming flooded with tears as the Ram's head which he so often perched upon was right there, RIGHT THERE, staring him down and just out of his grasp. Dirt plummed up as he dropped to the ground, falling upon his knees and slamming his swollen fists against the earth. His bandages changed from their bleached white color to a mix of rose and brown, blood mixing with soil in his aggressive frustration.]
"Usopp.. Robin.. Chopper.. Sanji.. Zoro.. Franky.. Brook.. "
[His voice dropped into a whisper. If some one were close enough, they'd hear him clearly.]
"Nami."

"... Then where do we start?"

[He covered his eyes as best he could with his hat, tilting the brim down as he walked past Suzaku.]
"I swear. If they've done anything to my friends, my ship, my family.. I will kill them."
