I will be your Deadman~
Characters: Aradia and you!
Setting: Anywhere in the tower
Format: Starting with brackets, but will match
Summary: Aradia discovers her Branch of Sin and is concerned
Warnings: Blood, eventual death
[A few days ago she came across a bright, red crystal while exploring the tower. She had tried to pick it up but it was embedded in the wall. She did however manage to cut herself on the sharp edge. The cut had healed fairly quickly so she thought nothing special of it at the time.
Getting small cuts on her hands and lower arms are pretty normal for an adventurer like Aradia, what isn't normal is the way her blood is acting. It seems thicker than usual, seeping out of the wounds in strands more than streams.
She isn't alarmed immediately, a little blood isn't much cause for concern, but than she notices she has a certain amount of control over her blood. She can stretch the strands out, feeling the tug of it on her veins in a sickly manner. She experimentally waves her arm about, the blood trailing behind it like her old whip.
Well, that can't be good.
She sets of in the direction of the infirmary, bloodwhip still hanging from the palm of her hand as she can't seem to retract it.]

[She narrows her eyes at him but he is the only person so far that has any idea what is happening to her.]
Okay, you can have a look.
[She extends her hand towards him.]

Aha, thanks! This will just take a second... ✩
[ He then proceeds to lick the blood off of his finger. It tastes different than human blood, but it's not unpleasant. After a few seconds, he grins, and claps his hands again. ]
Congratulations... you have a Branch of Sin.

What's that?

You now get to control your own blood as if it were another part of your body. And it's a weapon. ✩
[ But what's really interesting about this is the revelation that non-humans can acquire a Branch of Sin. He didn't know that. THAT was useful information to store at the back of his mind for later. ]

[It sure seems like an illogical way to fight.]

[ Mockingbird laughs, and begins to skip away, back towards the staircase. But suddenly, he stops, just as his hand was about to reach for the railing. ]
Oh, I almost forgot. [ He turns back to her, bright yellow eyes wide. ] Now that you're a Deadman, you need a new name. How about... [ He claps his hands. ]
Pelican! ✩
[ Don't ask why, it's just the first thing that popped into his head. He's not Tamaki. ]

[ And with one last laugh, Mockingbird begins ascending the staircase, running like a child on a playground. ]
