[Thanks to combined efforts, Mondo's managed to set up the lounge to make for a pretty nice birthday party, all things considered. There's decorations and food, if mostly desserts, but he figures Chihiro likes that kind of thing so it's all good.

He knows Chihiro has plenty of friends, so there's not much worry about people showing up, but...he doesn't want it to be lame.

Wanting it to be a surprise, around noon he goes to get Chihiro and carry him in on his shoulders.]

[Chihiro listened with eyes that got wider and wider with each revelation! He's then silent for a moment as he tries to process all that.]

I... I see. Is anyone else helping you then? Surely this is too great a burden for just one person!

I do have allies - the four Archangels take the form of swans and guide me from the sky, and my companion Lucifel, another Archangel, protects me should I find myself about to die. He wasn't meant to, but he guards my sanity as well...I would have gone mad if he wasn't there...and I trust he'll offer the same protection here.

*Save only when he was about to die by a fall. He was lucky and never realized Lucifel would only save him from a battle after he had died, making the situations regarding death in Meridian and Animus, ironically enough, no different from home. Just mentioning Lucifel seems to have lifted his mood, though, a calm where there once was sorrow.*

He is... I didn't think to invite him, though.

*He smiles anyway. It's probably for the better, after all, Enoch would have been inviting him for his company rather than because he would like the party.*

Ah...I didn't intend to speak so long about my own life at a party for someone else. So would you like to share a story of your world in return?

I see. Well, I would like to meet him later if possible.

[he shakes his head] It's alright. I'm glad that you were willing to tell me about yourself. Eh? My world... well... [his smile fades, but it's only fair that he tells Enoch about himself in return] ... before coming here, my friends and I were trapped in a school where we had to kill each other...

You...what? *Enoch's own smile slips away quickly.* That's...how could anyone have...

I'm not sure how it happened... We all fell unconscious soon after we arrived at the school then when we awoke we were completely locked inside!

You don't need to answer if it's too distressing, but how on Earth could they have enforced such a thing?

*Already, he knew that the instigators had to have taken hostages...*

I'm not sure... None of us do. Before I came here, we were trying to escape but to no avail...

We did try to do that at first but it didn't work... and then Monobear did things that made some people lose it.

Monobear? Was he the one who had trapped everyone?
