[Thanks to combined efforts, Mondo's managed to set up the lounge to make for a pretty nice birthday party, all things considered. There's decorations and food, if mostly desserts, but he figures Chihiro likes that kind of thing so it's all good.

He knows Chihiro has plenty of friends, so there's not much worry about people showing up, but...he doesn't want it to be lame.

Wanting it to be a surprise, around noon he goes to get Chihiro and carry him in on his shoulders.]

Sure! I wouldn't mind that either..but I wouldn't want to drag you away from your birthday party.

[shakes head] That's alright. We'll just be gone for a little while, right?

Well..that's true. Alright then! Let's go! The elevator can take us part of the way!

[..With that, Tohko would try to grab Chihiro's hand and rush out of the room. Try.]

[Chihiro will let her and hurries out of the room with her!]

[While Tohko held onto Chihiro's hand tight as she ran, she was not the best sprinter in the world and, when they got to the twenty-fifth floor, would be panting to catch her breath as she hit the elevator button.]

[Chihiro is rather out of breath too when they finally make it to the elevator.]

[Which just made Tohko smiled a little as she caught her breath and waited for the elevator.]

I guess..you're like a veloceraptor too, huh?

Eh? A velo... velo-what?

[tohko_amano]

A velociraptor. It's a type of dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous Period. They were hunters that worked in groups..but they were better at running short distances rather than long ones.

Oh! [he laughs a bit] I see! I guess we are kind of like them then.

[tohko_amano]

Yup! Which means that we can also be dangerous if we want to me.

[And with that, the elevator finally opens. Tohko, of course, would try to pull Chihiro in quickly with her before hitting the button for the first floor.]

... really? But I'm not really good at fighting...

[And he lets her pull him in]

[Which, thankfully, meant that the elevator doors would close behind them without incident.]

That's alright! They're pack hunters, so they work in teams. Even if you're not good at biting, you can still drive prey towards those who are.

I see! I'd like to be a velociraptor then!

I can see why you'd say that..but if you were a velociraptor, you might not be able to enjoy the things you like now. I wouldn't be able to read any books, after all.
