Feedback meeting [backdated]
Characters: Nesir, all the bunch of mad evil mission kids, Naoya, Richtofen, Riku Replica was probably invited too, any one else who feels like hanging out and drinking with a bunch of bad guys. Anyone who stumbles upon them.
Setting: Floor 35 (bottomless lake island) Backdated to about the 12th?
Format: Whatever you wish
Summary: The villains meet up to discuss what happened, and then they get drunkthe latter is totally not Nesir's fault shut up
I'll split it into two bits, the meeting and the party. We can hold off on the meeting until we are a bit further along in the actual plot and know what happened.
Warnings: Drunken villains should be a warning in itself, but also probably mentions of death (I'll edit as we go)
The floating island with the dead bottomless lake was somewhere quite quiet, there wasn't much there apart from the lake, which was devoid of life and would kill anyone who swam too deep. Not really the place for a gathering.
Unless you were the group here today. They had managed to get down to the lower levels, their mission was finished, the distraction had been a success and it was time to report, and celebrate.
Nesir had gotten there quite early, and hidden what she had brought behind a rock before wrapping her cloak around her, it was warmer than it had been but still a little too cold for Nesir's liking.

"The plot has been a complete success. Not only have we proved we can cut off entire floors from most of the administrative influence, but our valiant heroes have done everything as I had planned. From going through the cursed floors to following the path I left to help them find me, they have been predictably brilliant." he said calmly, nearly sounding disappointed "Whatsoever no originality in their methods, they never considered for a second walking out of the system I wrote for them and just did as we wanted..."
He paused and looked at the small assembly of people gathered here before continuing.
"If anything, we have proved the tower's population is even more manipulable than I originally thought." he said before adding "But of course, as amusing as this 'dark world' was, we all know this was only a distraction. Naoya and Jin successfully hacked into the elevator. Now the question is, what happened down there?"
Party
She didn't say anything, just passed them round with a smirk.
(Tag in as you will guys!)
Though not naive enough to be unable to comprehend Nesir's intention; to celebrate or commiserate, drinking isn't really something Sephiroth would consider to participate in. Not only is such an activity
usuallypointless on account of the self-preservative properties in his genetic make-up, but even if it were possible to get past that - such a state dulls senses, slows reactions and can unbalance a person, which is clearly dangerous around the Tower. Not to mention, such is a social pastime and he's not exactly a social creaturethough surely after what they've been through....He knows enough about the Tower now to realize that his floor could be such a place where alcohol may have an affect -Had she picked this floor on purpose?. But even so Sephiroth turns the bottle around in his hands a little - looking for some labeling to ascertain what it contains, then even a slight smell at the contents wrinkles his nose with the obvious strength of the beverage.
Tower-given alcoholic drinks? Well that's certainly foreboding enough. He'll wait and watch others reactions first before calling out to Nesir.
"Where did you get these?"

"A shame we can't go fishing here."
no subject
... Actually finding a place to fish was a good idea for food supply reasons. But aside from that. Alcohol now. He takes a swig, not really caring what it tastes like.

However, he didn't seem all that interested in the drink as of yet. Too busy with arms folded and even though most of his features were always hidden underneath the constant shadows emanated from his hat, his glowing eyes could be seen studying the group.
no subject
Ganondorf didn't say a word as he received his bottle. Alcohol? Urge to facepalm: raising.
Villains, you are all supposed to be the masters of evil in the multiverse. He'll give a quick glance at Ocelot and Veigar as they don't appear excited at the alcohol idea either. Not that he couldn't drink, he just didn't want. Besides here without his powers working and surrounded by people like him, this would just plain be a bad move.
no subject
It's noted that not everyone is drinking as Nesir had potentially hoped. Ganondorf and Veigar don't seem to be the types to be participating either, much like himself usually. Though any possible allegiances weren't going to form themselves and involving himself with this little pastime may indeed open doors otherwise closed? Sephiroth wasn't sure if he let his pride get in the way this time, would it have future repercussions...
no subject
... After a moment, he shakes his head.
"Never mind. I wouldn't want to eat whatever wants to eat those."

She turned to Ganondorf and Veigar and grinned, "Come on, you do be deserving some fun too."
no subject
He still nods his thanks to Nesir. Maybe he was just biased, but she seemed trustworthy.
no subject
"For all we know, these mutated fish may already have been served to us."
no subject
Pushing his bottle aside, he simply eyed the others. There was much more to this group than they let on. Nothing the Tiny Master of Evil couldn't handle, but alliances were a rare commodity in the tower. It took importance to note and know what each individuals personality and kit was like.
no subject
Fun? Sephiroth wasn't considering to join them just for the fun of it, indeed he's one that thinks much too much to concede to any type of such pointless activity like that. He's not social enough to drink just for the social aspect either. Then why does he find himself so in two minds about this idea? Even if he did manage get drunk, surely it's worth the experience?
He walks away from the group a little bit and half-sits, half-leans against the rock that Nesir had pulled her stash from out behind of. For now at least he seems interested enough in watching everyone else, though he has still got the bottle in hand - who knows the mood might take him in a while.

Then there's that nice warm feeling in his stomach. That's unexpected, but it really makes him feel a lot less nervous and uncomfortable. He takes another sip, and another, and with each sip he takes, that comforting warmth spreads. The drink starts to taste a little less strange too. The tingling feeling in his head he could do without, but otherwise, he's glad he took Nesir's recommendation.
no subject
Anyway, Naoya shrugs. "Fighting monsters isn't too much of a problem... probably not now though. It's hard to aim when you're drunk."
And it's not like he wants to explode any of them at the moment.
no subject
It had crossed Sephiroth's mind as well, they weren't exactly on a 'safe' floor - if they were all to indulge in this drunkenness there was a possibility of not being able to get back to their Dormitories in one piece afterward.
Surely most of them have already endured a death and sleep paralysis, and wouldn't want another one so soon afterwards.

Actually the reason why this floor was so good was that it blocked powers, which could go out of control or stop working under the effects of alcohol (at least in her world), by making it that everyone was aware they couldn't use magic it meant that they would fight without their powers first, and not attempt magic and fail, putting themselves at risk.
She was a good temple warrior sometimes.
no subject
How much damage could one or two sips do, really? Still...
So what if the other more 'serious' people in their little group were abstaining. Sephiroth does what Sephiroth wants regardless and won't be made to feel torn between two lots of peer pressure that he doesn't care to deal with. The whole feeling is enough to make him feel like he should walk away, Sephiroth is left wondering what he actually wants out of this little gathering, why he's sticking around...
He thinks too much.
no subject
He clenched his gauntleted fist until the leather made straining noises from the pressure, soon however he released it, noticing the lack of power that came forth. He already knew he hated the floors where powers didn't work and knew that no matter how hard he tried he never could get even a damn spark to come forth.
He was out of his comfort zone and seeing everyone in a good or at least pleasant mood made him furious. Except that he was also very good at hiding such emotions behind the shadows and mainly expressionless, glowing eyes under the large hat.

It's not easy to tell at what point clarity starts to become cloudier but the change in Ryoji's nervousness at least seemed to melt away by the minute. Surely taking an example from such a youngster (who he's sure shouldn't be drinking) isn't an excuse...
Though, it's curious if for nothing else to know how such a drink might effect Sephiroth. Might it shut off those parts of his mind that keep him awake at night?
no subject
Ryoji blinks blearily when he notices Sephiroth's stare, and for a moment, he stares back, just as cautious and angry as he had been in the past times he'd seen Sephiroth...
And then a snort of laughter sneaks through and that wariness is gone.
What's so funny? Does it matter? Ryoji's giggling so badly you'd think someone had stuck a clown nose on Sephiroth's face, but everything's the same as ever.
no subject
Mission accomplished.
no subject
It's certainly not something that would convince him that getting involved is a good idea, there is his pride to consider.
There was only so much of that giggling that could be bearable though.
"What's so funny?"
no subject
"Nesir-chan, Nesir-chan! L-Look at him! Just.. his face-"
He doubles over suddenly, still chuckling, even though there is clearly nothing wrong with Sephiroth's face. When he sits up again, he looks up at Sephiroth with obvious excitement.
"Hey, Sephiroth! Let's have a glaring contest! Ready set go!"
And now he's attempting a rather ridiculous interpretation of Sephiroth's face, eyes narrowed, lip jutting out, and arms folded.
...At least he's not having a laughing fit anymore?
no subject
Careful Ryoji. Be thankful that Sephiroth currently is an expert in controlling his outrage-filled outbursts and he knows that you're clearly drunk already. This, among many other reasons is why he doesn't suffer children. Not having any recollection of his own childhood probably has a great deal to do with his impatience with them.
Taking care to seem like he's ignored Ryoji's facial expression Sephiroth takes a step forward away from his rock and steps right up in front of Ryoji. Taking full advantage of the height he has over the other guy he peers down from between silver bangs, fist tight around the bottle he's holding. His mood quickly spiraling into more of his comfort zone; he's so much better at aggression than socializing.
"Got a problem. Boy?"
no subject
Then he is hilarious and she collapses into giggles, taking another swallow, she looks back to Ryoji to try and calm down, and sees his impression.
The giggling gets worse but she at least stands to get in between Sephiroth and Ryoji.
"He do no..." She burst into laughter, "Be doing no harm." She tried to copy his threatening glare, though she kept laughing and ruining it.
It's been a while since she let herself have fun.
no subject
Besides, Nesir is a really good distraction. She's having fun, like he is, and she's cheerful, and kind, and her accent is cute. The look on her face when she copies Sephiroth is adorable too, but honestly, she's always adorable. Poor Nesir should've been careful how much alcohol she let Ryoji have. He always flirts but he may end up getting even more extreme now.
"See, listen to Nesir! She obviously has more going for her than just good looks."
no subject
"Just ignore him if you're so offended. Unless you want to murder him which really won't have any lasting consequences. ... Psychologically I guess, but whatever."
Naoya gets an A+ in socializing here too.
no subject
Again he turns to the group. He doesn't roll his eyes, but you can practically feel the desire to hanging in the air.
no subject
Vergil though... "We could be making a gallery of scary faces, be chasing off the monsters with them."
no subject
He probably won't be that scary, however, judging from the chuckles that still occasionally escape him.
"...Sephiroth still has the scariest face though."
no subject
He'd already learned this, that's why keeping his patience was so important. He shouldn't care; so why react at all! So much for that facade of near-perfect sanity.
Sephiroth says nothing to any of them in response but abruptly turns and removes himself from the situation. Putting some more serious distance by way of a few strides, between him and that particular little group he considers just to leave the floor completely and let them have their little party. Let them think he's sulking if they want, they'll learn.
Instead, having taken the bottle of drink with him, he ends up sitting close to but not on the bank of the lake. Staring between it and out over the lake, trying to think clearly enough to make a decision one way or the other.
