You awake in a cell. It's perfectly white, seemingly scrubbed impossibly clean, and instead of bars a sheet of glass or plastic--it's hard to tell--covers the only exit. The cell block itself is really a cell circle--while each person is in their own cell, they can see all the others, the circle only broken by a hallway leading to a closed elevator door.

No unusual powers or abilities work, and any object that grants such skills has been removed.

Romeo's eyes flicker towards her and fill with tears again, it was becoming impossible to keep his spirits up, but the womans words scared him even more. He didn't try to stand this time, just took a moment to try and stop crying. "I think we must have broken a really big rule."

Milagro started shaking her head before he was even done speaking, and pressed herself against the glass. This kid needed a hug stat- too bad they were locked up. She cursed quietly to herself in Spanish, before speaking again.

"I don't think you broke any rule." Milagro insisted, still shaking her head in disgust. She feels like she should try and comfort him, but has no idea how. So instead she did what she knows best. She gets mad. "How could they do this-- They're going to feel my might when I get out of here."

Romeo blinked at her, he couldn't think of any reason why they would have done this to him if it wasn't to punish him. He closed his eyes at her anger, "They are bad people miss, if you fight them they will just hurt you bad."

A smile crept across her face when he said that, and she straightened up. Anger, off, huge ego, on.

"Oh, don't worry about that. Fighting bad people's my job. I'll get us out of here, and we'll get you to the best doctor in the universe." She believed it too. Even if she hadn't been able to get out yet, she still honestly believed she could get them all out and fix everything.

Romeo blinked through his teary eyes, "Are you a superhero miss?" Because Molly had told him all about Superhero's and how they saved people from bad people.

"I am." She managed a genuine smile, looking straight at him, no matter how grotesque it was. No matter how much she wanted to look away.

"My hermano too. But I'm way cooler than him. I'm an intergalactic crme fighter." Talking about this now of all times was a little weird, but it made Milagro happy to brag about, and maybe it would get everyone's minds off of the horrible situation.

Romeo managed the tiniest smile, but it faded as he saw his mouth twist in front of him, where he could see it now. "Intergalactic?" He tried to tilt his head but the weight of the antlers made his head heavy and his neck feel strange. He looked down at the floor, it felt more comfertable that way.

"Yeah. We don't just take care of Earth like most superheroes. But all the other planets out there too." She continued on with the conversation, hiding her worries for the little boy in comforting memories. "Each section in the universe gets at least two. But we help each other out too. That's what a green lantern does. We help everybody." she absentmindedly fiddled with the empty finger on her right hand as she spoke, where her ring had been before they had taken it.

Romeo didn't raise his head but he was listening. It sounded amazing, a superhero who went to lots of different planets. "Did you see the stars? Did you go to them? Doctor Casella taught me about stars!" He liked the idea she could help so many people.

"I did. I visited lots of the stars. And met all sorts of great people on and around them." She moved her hands, setting her palms together and holding them up before remembering right. No ring. No projection of stars. "Who's Doctor Castella?"

Romeo had closed his eyes and was imagining the stars, he hoped that they all managed to get free so she could travel among them again. He raised his head a tiny bit at the question.

"He is a really nice man, he makes people better even when they don't have any money to pay them, even when they are just chimney sweeps. He looked after me when I broke my leg, he even let me stay at his house while I recovered because mrs Rossi wouldn't feed me if I couldn't work. He knows so many things and he taught me about the stars when I stayed with him!"

Milagro's stomach twisted when she heard what he said- the poor kid didn't sound like he had had a very good life. It was hard for her to imagine, having grown up in a very tight-knit and loving family unit.

"He sounds like a great man. Doctors are good people. One of my fellow lanterns is a doctor!"

"He is! He is a great man! I like doctor's they are kind. Was the doctor you know kind? Did he help everybody." Because helping people was important especially when you had such skills like a doctor.
