Captivity

Characters: Romeo, France, Milagro, Ψiioniic, Germany, Kanaya, Romana, Dean
Setting: cells
Format: either
Summary:Welcome to captivity.
Warnings: drama/angst/horror
Note: Please use the provided subthreads to keep things somewhat organized.

You awake in a cell. It's perfectly white, seemingly scrubbed impossibly clean, and instead of bars a sheet of glass or plastic--it's hard to tell--covers the only exit. The cell block itself is really a cell circle--while each person is in their own cell, they can see all the others, the circle only broken by a hallway leading to a closed elevator door.

No unusual powers or abilities work, and any object that grants such skills has been removed.

Speak to your fellow captives?

"It kind of doethn't, actually," Ψiioniic says, but he doesn't sound at all happy about it. "It doesn't feel like anything. Everything ith... dampened." He shivers. "I can't see properly. Or thmell, or touch, or taste... they took my hornth." He sounds plaintive at the last, like a little child.

"Oh. Well... at least it doesn't hurt." Milagro frowns, fumbling around in her head for words to say that might comfort him. "We- We can get them back. Yeah. We can get them back." She's not sure how, or how the heck he'll get them back on, but she's got her head set on it now.

It's a ridiculous thing to say - even if they somehow get his horns back, there's no way to put them back in place. Once broken, a troll's horns can never be fixed, unlike their teeth.

But it makes him laugh, because it's so ridiculous. If there's an edge of hysteria to the sound, he thinks he can be forgiven. She's trying so hard and so obviously to comfort him, how can he not appreciate it?

"Thank you," he says softly to her. "What about you? You were thtill got when they took me, and... I can't quite... see you properly. Are you okay?" Not only is it hard to see through the film, but one moment she seems to be at one end of her cell, then next at the other - and the next she's gone entirely. He can only assume they fucked up his vision twofold the same way they did his telekinesis.
