Autumn is for...

Setting: Hallways, floor 15 (workshop) and graveyard

Summary: Romeo goes to fix his puppet theatre, makes leaf collages and then tornadoes happen
Warnings: Tornadoes and injury

[Fixing things] Romeo was glad the heat was over, he had hated being so thirsty all the time. Hungry he could cope with but thirsty had been hard.

He felt heavy and as he sat up in bed he saw it was covered with leaves! It must be Autumn now! He grinned rolling in bed listening to the leaves crunching.

Getting up he looked around his room and his eyes settled on his puppet theater, it had gotten ruined again in the rain but he knew how to fix it now, he wasn't sad like the last time it had happened.

He was sadder about his books, Moby Dick, the picture book which he had learned to read with, his gift from miss Tohko. They were all ruined as well and he couldn't fix them.

But he could fix his puppet theater so in the name of keeping his spirits up he went over to grab it and dragged it out into the hall. The problem was it was bigger than him, he might need some help getting it all the way to floor fifteen.

[Making art] He worked on the theater for hours, painting it anew, finding new material for curtains, even getting some wood to support the bottom where the rain had warped and twisted it. The paint job was... interesting, but it looked well loved at least.

He stood admiring his work, it had been run, even if he had had to battle with leaves which kept getting stuck in the paint.

Which gave him an idea actually... While his theater dried he went to get some supplies. Paper, some glue, more paint and a whole lot of leaves.

Anyone walking in to floor fifteen would find a paint covered leaf monster sticking leaves to paper and painting patterns with the artistic ability of a much younger child. But this is the first time he has ever done something like this.

[See me soar] He took his paintings up to the graveyard, finding Molly's grave first and putting a picture next to it, "The towers gone all funny Molly! It's been raining inside, I bet you would find ways to have fun though!"

Sasuke was next, "Itachi's okay, he's getting better at being a good person now. And he's been helping people a lot!" He went to a few more, he didn't have enough pictures for all his friends but he tried to talk to them all at least.

Well until there was a roar and he was snatched up off his feet into the air. He screamed as he was flung this way and that, the air snatched from his lungs. It felt like he was up for ever but then he was flung downwards, right into a headstone, there was a crack as his head hit it and he lay there limply.

"Sorry. I didn't mean it was a bad name sir!" Romeo felt bad that he might have made Chaos feel sad.

Don't worry, Romeo. chaos is just always in a melancholy state. However, at that, he did manage to chuckle.

"It's alright. There's no need to apologize. I know you didn't mean that. You were just curious. It's normal, especially with my name."

Romeo gave a small smile and rubbed his head, feeling better.

chaos returned the smile and nodded to himself.

"It looks like you are doing alright now. Were you paying your respects to old friends here?"

[myblueskies]

Romeo nodded with a smile, "I made pictures for them out of the leaves."

[lightofhumanity]

"Good..it's always nice to remember your friends, even if they are long gone."

chaos knew that better than anyone else..

[myblueskies]

"It is, sir! I don't want them to think I've forgotten them, even if they are lost."

[lightofhumanity]

"..Even if they are dead, they will never be truly lost, as long as you and others remember them."

..In chaos's universe, even if people forgot about them, old souls were still recycled sometimes, so even then, souls were not always destroyed.

[myblueskies]

"I know sir. We will rescue everyone's souls and then they can all go to heaven."

He smiled reassuringly at Chaos.

And chaos just kept on smiling normally. A child you believed in Heaven..this wasn't new to him..but in chaos's universe, the normal idea of Heaven wasn't really true.

"..Or some version of it, depending upon the universe."

[myblueskies]

Romeo nodded, "Well they go to the heaven they believe in I think, the one in their world." Romeo saw no problem with that, after all Gamzee had told him about his heaven which was a circus.

[lightofhumanity]

"Or some version of the afterlife. The one in mine doesn't quite match up to what most tales think of Heaven."

..Would he be safe talking about this? Maybe. After all, the scientists in his current time had found out about the Imaginary Numbers Domain. It wouldn't be odd to say that some suspected that there was something like the Collective Unconscious..and some philosophers already knew about it.

[myblueskies]

"That's what I meant sir." Romeo tilted his head. "Everyone's got different ideas and there are so many worlds they are probably all true!"

[lightofhumanity]

chaos blinked for a moment before..chuckling a little, his smile returning. Romeo was interesting..but he was not foolish.

"That is probably how it works. You are rather bright about this."

[myblueskies]

"Well I thought about it a lot." Romeo looked at him with wide eyes.

[lightofhumanity]

"I suppose, in a place like this, you had both the time and plenty of experiences to help you."

And chaos just looked at Romeo with his usual smile.

[myblueskies]

"I just met lots of people from lots of different worlds sir, and so I learned lots of things that I never knew before!"

[lightofhumanity]

"That's good. In a place like this, it is good that you are still trying to learn new things. It is one of the advantages of this place..I myself learned about some things that don't exist in my own universe."

[myblueskies]

"There's lots of things I learned here, that don't exist where I come from."

[lightofhumanity]

"However, it is still good that you are learning about them. Perhaps they can be of use to you when you return home."

[myblueskies]

Romeo blinked at that but then nodded, because it was important he tried to keep this mans spirits up. "They will be sir!"

[lightofhumanity]

chaos knew what Romeo was thinking and almost chuckled again. Nothing he had said indicated that their worlds weren't destroyed..after all, what was destroyed might also be rebuilt sometimes.

"I am sure they will..and perhaps they will even help you restore the universes someday."

[myblueskies]

"I hope they do sir!"

[lightofhumanity]

"I am sure they will."

After all, if they didn't, and the Administrators lost their grip on him, Anima could awaken, with almost no Animus to control it.

Thinking, chaos smiled and stood up, holding out a hand if Romeo needed some help getting up.

"Now, do you have any other graves you were going to visit? I'll accompany you, if you do."

"I do" Romeo smiled at him, "But only if you're not busy sir."
