Summary: Checking up and enjoying the fall weather.

She has a bad feeling about him. That kid that she spoke with before. She couldn't pin down precisely what it was, but there's something about him that she just doesn't like.

Even so, this place is making her soft, far more than she cares to admit, and after the recent bout of flooding she finds herself checking dorm rooms for him out of what she tells herself is boredom. It didn't seem like there was anyone taking care of him and a kid that size would get washed away with everything else.

Of course, nobody going by the name "Benjamin" exists. She's made sure to check each one and, at first, she wonders he's gone, but--no, she's pretty sure he's still around here. The telepathic message she's able to send him (What the big idea!? Giving me a fake name--there's nobody in this place by the name of Benjamin, y'know!) is proof enough of that.

Eventually, after trying a few dorm rooms and coming up empty, she chooses the right one. Spotting Czes, she's just going to glare at him like he just killed her family and burned down their house. And she's going to continue her thoughts without skipping a beat.]

It took me forever to figure out where you were. I was starting to wonder if they'd kicked you out, y'know.

Fine. Have it your way.

[She sets him down before bending down in order to let him climb on her back.]

[He nods in thanks and climbs up on her back, wrapping his arms around her neck.]

Mm, thank you.

[prayed]

Make sure you hang on tight. It's gonna hurt like Hell if you fall off, y'know.

[She wraps her arms around his knees before standing up. She'll give him a few seconds to adjust before taking off at a speed that only another Puella Magi could keep up with.]

[So. That was a thing he was not expecting. He wraps his arms a little tighter around her. He has no intention of falling. Nope.</small.]

[prayed]

[There's only one stop along the way, a brief pause as she catches sight of another monster (were they always this common during the day?) She doesn't even bother to confront it head on, instead watching it for a moment before several spears, resembling the one she uses to fight, jut out of the ground, piercing it.

he might hear some mumbled words about them getting "bold," but otherwise she continues on like nothing had happened, and before long they'll have arrived at the meadow. The piles of dead leaves don't quite match the eternal spring weather that the floor sports.]

[He nods weakly.]

Y-yeah. Still here.

[prayed]

Heh. I guess that was a bit much for you, huh?

[She crouches down once more to let him down.]

I'll go slower next time, 'kay?

[bytheirhand]

[He slides off her back, nodding as he steadies himself.

But something she said made him pause.]

Next time?

[What's this, Kyoko? You're not getting fond of him, are you?]

[prayed]

[Getting tsundere for him tbh.]

Huh? It's not like I'm just gonna leave you here, y'know...I gotta haul myself back upstairs later, so taking a kid with me's no problem.

[More importantly. See that large leaf pile right there, Czes? She's just going to casually try to shove you into it.]

Though if you just wanna try and wander back after lights out on your own, be my guest.

[bytheirhand]

[He let's out a startled shriek as he tumbles backwards into the pile. It takes a minute of flailing and sputtering for him to finally resurface, but when he does there's a wide grin on his face.]

I think I'll take you up on that offer, if you don't mind.

[prayed]

[She's going to flop down in the pile near him, throwing leaves everywhere and creating something of a little nest for herself.]

That's why I offered, y'know.

[...she's smiling a bit more genuinely now, though.]

See? This is way better than sitting around in that stuffy room.

Mmhmm. You were right.

[He throws himself back into the leaves, giggling a bit.]
