Not what I expected [open]
Characters: Samwise Gamgee and you!
Setting: Room 2-04, then dorm halls and staircases heading down the tower
Format: Whatever you wish
Summary: Sam wakes up
Warnings:
[Room 2-04] Sam hadn't thought he would ever open his eyes again, never mind feel a soft bed under him and his first thought was that it had truly all been a dream. Except he tried to move and he couldn't. For a terrifying moment he was stuck unable to even scream.
Then it was over and he sat up, the room was different than anything he had seen before, the clothing he wore clung to him. Had they somehow been rescued? It seemed like it would be an impossible feat, yet here he was. Alive. Somehow no longer on that mountain, and it did really seem possible he had dreamed it all up. Except where was he and where was Frodo?
He looked round the room, a room made for big folk, four beds including the one he had woken up in. "Samwise Gamgee, what have you gotten yourself into this time?"
[Hallways] Later, dressed in the ragged clothes he had found in his trunk he walked the hallways. Still not quite believing that this could be real, there was so much he didn't understand. "Mister Frodo?" He called as he walked, because if he was alive. If he had been saved then surely they had saved Frodo as well.
"Mister Frodo?"
[Staircases] Sam wasn't quite ready to step out onto any of the odd places he could see around them, but carefully continued to walk downwards, wondering how far down this place could go, and what other strange things he would see. He walked carefully, stopping every now and again to shake his head in disbelief at the things he saw.

He was very confused, having met Thorin already, who had claimed to have just arrived, yet also in the same breath claimed to have come from his quest with Bilbo.

As soon as the elevator arrived, Legolas shuffled the hobbit inside and hit the button for the first floor. The ride down would take half an how but they would be able to fill that time, he was sure.

"I sure am glad to see you, I've heard such confusing things, I don't know what to think anymore."

"It's good to have familiar faces here. And we'll find a way to go home, safely, I promise." It may take them awhile but Legolas wasn't going to let Frodo and Sam suffer here more than could be helped. "And I'll do whatever I can to clear what you've heard, of course."

"A girl... Ruana?" He questioned though he had an idea that was who he meant. Better to make sure though before going on and so as not to confuse him.

"Oh yes, Gandalf is alive. He may not be as you recall though." He could smell the volcanic residue on Sam's clothes, knew from when he'd come. "He is Gandalf the White now. A much more powerful wizard than he was in Moria."

It truly lightened his heart to hear that Gandalf was alive, and had survived Moria, "Miss Tohko said that as well, about him being Gandalf the White."

"He's much more powerful than he was and worried very much for yourself and Frodo during our journey. As I'm sure he'll tell you when you find him."

"He'll be glad to see you as well Sam. All the worry we had for yourself and Frodo. I'll never forget his expression when Mount Doom erupted." All the color had drained from his face, from everyones face.
no subject
"That... Mount doom erupted about an hour ago as I see it, I don't understand what has happened."
no subject
"It will get easier to understand if you're here for some time." And there he paused, sadness crossing his features. "I'm sorry that you had to be brought here, Sam."

"That is true. You may also find Haldir, if you remember him. He will protect you if ever I can't. And we have friends here, not of Middle Earth, who will help and guide us as well."

This one hadn't run into Thorin yet, whether by curse or blessing. And, by now, the elevator was steadily getting closer to the first floor. So close and then the door opened and Legolas lead Sam out and towards the cafeteria.

"At least we've familiar faces to look to for strength here. Come, I'll get you a bowl of oatmeal."

The elf moves to speak to a worker unit and gets a couple nutrition bars from himself, water for them both and Sam's oatmeal before leading the hobbit to a table.

First Gandalf and now Boromir... And Arogorn had been here twice, what was this place...
He took the oatmeal with thanks and followed Legolas to a table.

"What does it mean for someone to disappear."
