RETURNS
Characters: Canada (Madeline)
Setting:THESE PLACES
Format: Action; Will match!
Summary: She just got back!! And after seeing England and grabbing some food, she is re-exploring the tower from the bottom up
Warnings: NONE YET
FLOOR 4
[It was a lot easier to curl up on these couches in her hoodie and long skirt. A couple books snagged from the library laid in her lap as she gazed out the windows. The fog was as unrelenting as ever and she just wished it would part for a few minutes. Her eyes dropped back to the books in her lap and she fanned them out idily.
A book of fairy tales, some comic books--how did they get there--and a romance novel.
Maybe she should actually look at what she grabs next time.]
FLOOR 10
[Canada didn't want to touch the water with those fish swimming so close to the edge but she couldn't help it. It was beautiful. Her hand hesitantly pressed against the water and slipped in without resistance and she squeaked when she felt a school of fish brushed by.
She stumbled back and hesitantly crept back over.]
Why did I decide today was exploring day again...
FLOOR 12
[Oh. Well. This was disturbing and a bit upsetting. It reminded her quite painfully of the world she had just left. Yet somehow she couldn't look away. She walked up to the wall and pressed her fingers against a bright point of light, watching it flare and then do dark.] Why...
FLOOR 19
[ Canada silently browsed the books. A second library seemed a bit much but at least this one had different sorts of books. She stopped still at the missing history section.]
I could be right there. My history...Why don't they want us to know anything about the history of our worlds?
[She looked down at Kumaria] I know, why am I talking to you?

You're back!

Now that I am not at risk from being crushed, yes I am back.

They were here...when I got back.

[He is thinking of all the stuff he could get.]

More than your little room you share with other people can fit. So 'the rest' is not really the rest of your stuff. It's what you want most of the rest of your things.
Right?

Why not ask for my own room?

[She swats him lightly] Arguing just to argue now.

Yes, I am a country on earth. I'm sorry, it must be strange.

So Canada is a welcome distraction.]
It's surprising. Wouldn't you think that if our worlds had truly been destroyed, they would wish us to know the details of our defeat?
no subject
One would think so. I...know its destroyed but this place still feels like a trap to me.

[He sets his own book back on the shelf.]
Nor do we have any true proof our worlds are gone. If they can take us here and collar us in our sleep, they can deceive our senses when they claim to send us home.

Fourth Floor
Hi there!
no subject
Oh, hello. I didn't realize there were horses...ponies? In the tower. I must have been gone quite some time.

[ She trots over, smiling brightly. ] Name's Applejack.

[Don't mind Ven popping up behind the couch and looking at the bunches of books you had in your lap, Canada. Hope you weren't planning on getting much reading done.]
no subject
I'm not really sure to be honest. I just grabbed a few books at random.

[He asked a bit absentmindedly and carefully grabbed one of the comic books she had, so that he could drop it if she didn't want him just taking it.] Is this a book?
no subject
[She pauses and waves her hand] It's a comic. It had words and pictures to tell the story rather than just words alone.
no subject
Pictures and words...?! [Whoah. This is apparently fascinating to him.] I've never seen any kind of books like that!

Oh, can I? [Excite!] I mean, sure, if you don't mind!
