Summary: A pair of vampire hunters wake up in the same room together and explore search for Remilia the one responsible.

[Room 2-17]

[For the residents of 2-17, two new faces were present in the room. The blonde was awake, already dressed with a wide-brimmed black hat on her head, while the dark haired one still slept. At least, she looked asleep.

Thinking the other was asleep, Marisa took the opportunity to start looking through the other trunks in the room. All of three of them.]



[Various Floors (where powers were present)]

[Sometimes these floors had narrow walkways or other passages. For those spending their time in these, there was little warning as two young women - one in black on a broom and one in red floating without style - flew through very quickly as if they were on a mission. And they were, in search of a particular scheming vampire they believed responsible.

Better jump to the side and dodge as they buzzed by or get shoved out of the way. The one in black called back as she passed.]

Learn to graze, ze!

[The one in red nicks the wall on the way by, unused to tight spaces. It sends her into a flip and she lands on her rear and skids across the floor to a stop. Getting up, she turns to confront the obvious troublemaker.]

Seriously, what the hell is your problem?

[Coming to a stop, hovering in the air, the one in black starts laughing at her friend's misfortune.]



[Lounge - 4th Floor]

[Marisa and Reimu were standing in front of the computer terminals. The blonde reached out to poke at the screen, getting close enough for the terminal to flicker on. Startled, she hopped back a bit.]

[Reimu's immediate reaction was to punch the thing out of surprise. She ended up with a bruised knuckle as she cursed in pain.]

Ow! Damn, that was hard.

[It certainly wasn't some kind of wax candle, that's for sure.]

[It takes her a moment but she knows that thing WELL. That makes her do a double take between Marisa and the grave nearby that has purple flowers planted at it before responding, finally putting 2 and 2 together..getting 5 and a half still BUT mostly catching on.]

...Marisa? But your grave is...

[Although she is falling into a defensive stance just in case. This was not going to end well]

[Never mind that Marisa was dressed very different from what Meiling remembered.]

Where is she? Don't make have to get persuasive.

[Which is where the other 1 and a half came from.]

Wha- What are you talking about? Where is who?

That damn vampire you stupidly serve.

Remilia? She's no longer here. She hasn't been here for a while now.

Then why is the damn castle here? Is that wizard sustaining it?

Give her up now and I'll only beat her up a little.

....Castle? What castle? There isn't anyone else in the Tower but myself from the mansion.

Like I said, She isn't here.

[Moving away from the gravestone now and pointing at it. This was just weird...]

[Marisa finally looks at the stone and sees the name on it. Whelp. Time to dig a vampire up.

Hopping off her broom - leaving it hovering in the air behind her - Marisa walked toward the grave. Mini-Hakkero in one hand, she pulls out a thick, ceremonial silver knife with mystical glyphs etched onto the blade from her belt with her other hand.]

[Not moving but a bit startled by the knife..Somehow this was not going to end well]

What are you doing? There is nothing in there.

We'll see about that. If you get in the way, I'll kick your ass again.

[colorfulbrilliance]

[A frown, She's thinking about it for a moment before shaking her head. It would do no good.]

...Fine, Just don't destroy those flowers.

[She can at least be a bit upset about this.]

Then they better uproot themselves and get out of the way. I ain't gonna dig around them.

[And her magic circle glows under her as she uses some earth magic to part the ground before the gravestone.]

[A sigh as she at least attempts to get the flowers out of the way...Which isn't quite successful. But she can work with it...After that, She'll back off a bit, holding what she grabbed of the flowers close, looking away. She didn't need to see the empty grave. She knew better]

[Marisa pries the lid off the coffin, knife raised to stab and...]

...damnit.

[Meiling is fighting the urge to say 'I told you so' no matter how tempoing it may be.]

Do you believe me now?

No. Just that she's not here. But that's okay.

[Away goes the knife and she puts some of the dirt into a vial from her pouch.]

I'll just use this later.

[She shouldn't ask....Really..She should know better by now.]

Why? What's that for? Mistress Remilia has not been here for a while now.

[This is getting ridiculous now...And she's rubbing her forehead with her free hand.]

[She holds up the vial and shakes it.]

This'll tell me for certain.

[colorfulbrilliance]

..How would that even work?

[There has never been a body here..Okay she knows that Remilia had visited the grave once but..]

Duh. [She points to herself.] Witch.

[colorfulbrilliance]

I know that much already. There isn't anything that she's had nor is her body or living form even here.

[Meiling wants to at least get this fact known.]

I'm just surprised the coffin didn't try to harm you.

Like I'm going to believe you when it comes to that vampire. You serve her.

...and if the coffin had tried to hurt me, I would've blasted it.

Why would I lie about...

[She stops at that. She feels like she's talking to the wall attached to her gate and getting just as far.]

If you find anything..It's probably being used for someone else's body replacement and good luck getting there.
