Summary: Two dweebs play verbal catch up and probably get up to some mischief.
[A couple of days after his initial arrival, and talk with himself, John decides that today is the day to have that talk face to face with his other self.Here we can assume they spoke the night before through the terminals and set up the time, around one in the afternoon John shows up at room 1-12 and the two of them begin walking up to the Observatory.

Okay, I sorted my thoughts out at least before we did this. But first of all, I need to know the very last thing you remember before Pokemon land, okay? So I know where to start or something.
