[open]
Characters: AU!Luke and anyone who has enough patience to wants to bother him
Setting: Dorms, Floor 3 (library), Floor 10 (aquarium); morning/afternoon-late evening
Format: Action preferred, but will match prose, albeit more slowly
Summary: First day in the tower. Exploring!
Warnings: Possible violence/swearing.
Dorm Level 4
[If you happen to be on this floor, you might run into this redhead. Possibly literally, as he doesn't bother to check if anyone's in front of his dorm door before stomping out of it. He's read (and confettied, in his irritation) the note he woke up with, and has decided to go investigate the tower for himself, not trusting it.]
Library (floor 3)
[And here is Luke seated between a couple stacks in the library, having gotten distracted looking through the books. Seems he's forgotten he's in a death tower for the moment.]
Aquarium (floor 10)
[Someone should probably get this kid to stop terrorizing the fish. He's not actually sticking his hand in the water, that would get his glove (and arm) all wet, but he's more than happy to poke his sword in instead to see how the fish react.]
This place is so weird. What's up with the water?

awww don't feel bad </3
[But with the next statement, his expression looks just as confused.] But... [He starts, but squeezes his eyes shut for a second and then shakes his head.
This Tower is so hard to understand...was this something else it could do that Asch hadn't mentioned? But then, Asch had talked about replica-like bodies and soul transplanting...
Ion didn't think Luke was lying. He sounded too sincere. And, besides, even if he had been known to keep secrets, he had never been terribly dishonest...oh well. He'd figure it out, somehow. It wasn't really that important at the moment.]
Right. I'm sorry; I'm sure you have. This place just has me a bit turned around. [Anyway... a topic change feels sorely needed. We can leave all the unpleasant news and general information giving to Asch. Especially considering Ion's hardly been there any longer than this Luke.] In any case, you really shouldn't provoke the creatures here. I've heard a lot about the dangers--I know that you can handle yourself, but...
Sorry this tag is so late
[He was. He wouldn't consider Ion a friend, but he doesn't want anything to actually happen to him.
Ion gets a weird look for his actions, but Luke doesn't comment on anything, focusing instead on the topic change.]
What kind of dangers? I've heard to stay away from a bunch of floors, but so far I haven't seen any monsters.
[He's leaving the fish alone, at least.]
And now it's my turn to apologize!
[He sobers up pretty quickly, then, thinking about the poppy fields. How his first day in the Tower...hadn't ended well.
Ion shakes his head.]
I haven't either, but looks can be deceiving. Even some of the more outwardly-innocent features here can be deadly.
[Honestly, Ion didn't know what here was safe. Even if his worst experience had been with the poppy field, he trusted the apprehension of the others in place of his own experiences. He could only hope that this Luke would do the same.]
