Summary: First day in the tower. Exploring!

Dorm Level 4

[If you happen to be on this floor, you might run into this redhead. Possibly literally, as he doesn't bother to check if anyone's in front of his dorm door before stomping out of it. He's read (and confettied, in his irritation) the note he woke up with, and has decided to go investigate the tower for himself, not trusting it.]

Library (floor 3)

[And here is Luke seated between a couple stacks in the library, having gotten distracted looking through the books. Seems he's forgotten he's in a death tower for the moment.]

Aquarium (floor 10)

[Someone should probably get this kid to stop terrorizing the fish. He's not actually sticking his hand in the water, that would get his glove (and arm) all wet, but he's more than happy to poke his sword in instead to see how the fish react.]

This place is so weird. What's up with the water?

[Alright, no, something is fishy here and it is definitely not the fish.]

Luke. I just saw you this morning. When you were complaining about Asch. Don't tell me you don't remember that.

I saw Asch this morning...this is the first time I've seen you since I got here. Whoever you saw wasn't me.

Who else could it have been?? There's only one of you!

[Well, two of you if you count Asch, but Luke should know well enough that Guy doesn't count them as the same person.]

[This Luke hopes that Guy doesn't think of them as the same person. Well, his Guy. But he doesn't know that this Guy isn't his Guy yet.]

I don't know, maybe there's two of me now.

[He gives a frustrated sigh, crossing his arms tightly across his chest. No. No, we were not going to have this talk again.]

Luke, Asch isn't you. Knock it off.

[Nope. We're going to have a different talk.]

Yeah, duh. Just because we're twins doesn't mean we're the same person. You okay? You're acting weird.

Twins?? What in the world...

[He stoops down to look Luke in the eyes, peering at him suspiciously.]

...Luke. What exactly did you eat today? Anything poisonous? Weird colors or barbs or things growing where they aren't supposed to?

Cause I'm definitely not the one who's acting weird.

Huh?

I haven't eaten anything today. I had some noodle dish that Tear cooked...yesterday...but her cooking isn't terrible enough to be poisonous.

[There's a sudden flash of realization in Guy's eyes. Tear was gone. She had been gone for a couple months now, and for Luke to talk about her so openly...

This wasn't Luke. Or, rather... this wasn't the Luke that he'd just spoken to. There were whisperings here and there that this place pulled from all sorts of spots on the timeline, and even from alternate worlds...

Luke... ahh, sorry for the odd question brigade. But what's the last thing you remember?

[To him, he had literally just seen Tear less than 24 hours ago.]

Uh...we were in the desert, and just left the ruins. Last I remember, we were heading to Chesedonia.

[So this was a different Luke. Or maybe just a Luke from a different time.

God, this was going to be confusing. The collar color was even the same...]
