first patrol | OPEN
Characters: Sora and yooou. Seriously she's poking her head into every room, you can meet her in two tags if you want.
Setting: various.
Format: Your choice. <3
Summary: Superheroes should be proactive, especially in the face of great peril. Minutes after waking up, a newly-arrived Sora wanders the tower.
Warnings: None so far!
Sora is a slow waker at the best of times, and a worse one when she's been kidnapped and moved to somewhere that isn't her hideout and her alarm clock, so it isn't until she sits up, calls out the names of several of her major villainous counterparts hopefully (they're usually nice enough to stay nearby when she wakes up, in case she has questions like 'where am I' and 'what have you done with my friends'), and does two circuits of the room that she notices the paper on the table.
When she reads it, it's all she can do not to scream. This lasts for a while, this struggle with self-control and vocal chords, so her legs thoughtfully buckle and she ends up back on the edge of her bed, clutching the note on her lap. Her world. It's too big a concept for her to wrap her head around. All those people. She tries to imagine it, and what could have caused it, and fails. Several times. She blames herself, then stops, then the guilt is shoved down into a part of her mind full of childhood memories and unpleasant thoughts.
Deep breaths. If she's here, Sora, an insignificant girl from Manhattan, then that means others have to be here.
X never warned me is her next thought, but she dismisses it as unworthy of a knight and a hero. It's not her mysterious masked benefactor's fault. It never is. No villains have turned up either, which means she's free to look around. And she means to do exactly that; she is going to search this place, wherever it is, until she keels over from exhaustion. And then she'll start again.
She doesn't notice the trunk until she stubs her toe on it, but once she's got it open, she lets herself cry a little bit. Then she carefully stacks the photos at the bottom, and tucks them underneath some shirts and her socks. The cape and her costume she takes out, mask tied in place, boots and gloves on, cape swirling down to the back of her knees. The gauntlet she fits to her left hand, and even though it isn't armed right now, it makes her feel better. Closer to the others. Armoured, she feels more confident, and sets out into the corridor.
Sora plans to open every single door in this tower, just on the offchance her friends are behind it.
But they aren't. You are. Hello there.

"Can I help you miss." Suzaku asked making a vague attempt to dislodge Arthur who just miowed at him and bit his other hand.

"They'd be carrying a badge. Like this!" A small, feather-shaped badge (reading Justice Squad Member for ultimate secrecy) on her chest was unclipped and held out for him to inspect.
Someone else might've asked where she was, but that was several rungs down Sora's priority ladder right now.

"I can help you look if you like." He should do another look round the tower for Psiioniic and it was perfectly possible to look for this girls friends at the same time.

"Hey, I think you have the wrong room?"

"Nah, I don't think so," he said after a moment. "Did you just get here? I haven't seen you before."

"Shoutarou, my you let my body fall!" The green and gold half of the man reached over, smacking the black and purple half. "I've been out of practice! And Akiko isn't here!"
They don't seem to notice the armored girl opening the door...
no subject
She'd already walked in by the time she realised there was only one person in the room - one conscious person, anyway - and by that time she was committed. "What's happening?"
no subject
Sora's addressing them got Shoutarou's attention, however, and he looks over at the armored girl. "Ah... My partner and I were just working out some issues," he answers, pointing down at Phillip's body...and then to the green half of him. "You shouldn't be so careless, Shoutarou," Phillip nagged, the right eye of Double flashing as he spoke.
no subject
"Ah... He shouldn't be left like that. Let me help!"
Luckily, this was a dorm. Plenty of beds. She was over to them and kneeling by the boy's side before you could say 'superhero complex'.

Hi! I'm Princess Powerful, are you new?
no subject
I'm Crimson Lass.
no subject
Have you found anything suspicious? [she looks around quickly like suspicious things will jump out at her at any moment]
no subject
[what counts as suspicious? Sora doesn't have a suspecting bone in her body. After a few moments of similarly dramatic looking around - maybe Princess Powerful spotted something! - she slumps] Not yet, no.

ACTION cause I am the laziest ever 8Db
a trapLink. While she was busy trying to find an exit to this place.Well. She is surprised. Hi there have an elf-looking person fully equipped with sword, shield, and the whole nine yards. ]
8Db Yessss
This costume is amazing!
She should tug on her ears, that'd be hilarious--/shot
My... costume...?
[ Do you not see the green clothes and heavy equipment and the bags and the quiver full of arrows, Sora? ]
no subject
Ah, your uniform! Sorry, I always call it the wrong thing...
[ ohhhhh and another mutant, too. She doesn't tug, but one ear gets touched at the point anyway. ]

So here Sam is, putting the main tower problem on the back burner, and getting ready to go scavenger hunting for some intel about those disembodied voices he keeps hearing about, when one of those "hard-to-get-used-to" type of people poked their head in. And for just a moment Sam hesitated, eyebrows pulling together in confused thought. Because, seriously? What was with all the costume wearing in this place? "... can I help you?"
ohi o/
My but her new prospective helper-slash-friend was tall.
She smiled, undaunted. "Thanks! I'm looking for my friends. They'd be wearing masks like mine, only without the horns! And different colours."
Hi!
Well, except that symbol looked oddly familiar...
"I haven't seen anyone with masks like that," Sam finally replied. Really, he did honestly want to help, but it was kind of hard when all he had to go off of was 'they were masks.' "What are their names?"
no subject
She stopped to breathe, and looked up at him expectantly. Surely that was just enough detail. "Their hero names are all colours, like mine! But the Angels call them weird names instead. I don't remember what they are, though. Sorry."
