Summary: Event Stuff. Amberley comes back to the tower as a C worker. Details are over here.

Cain and Garvi are going to both participate in mercy killing Amberley. If anyone wants to kill/be killed/thread with Amberely drop me a pm and we can make plans.

Warnings: Body Horror/Brainwashing, Death, Suicidal thoughts, Dismemberment/Gore, I'll add anything else that might be needed.

[ The woman that could once be called Amberley spends the whole event walking around the halls. Her body has been carved up with sinful marks that give off a weak light green glow, polluting her body and infusing it from the powers of the warp. Amberley's whole body has become so weak from the process that she's constantly using magic to move forward, walking with her body slumped back in an unsettling, inhuman angle. Her only untouched feature, her face, wears a stoic expression, but you can see her eyes darting around occasionally, widened like she's in a constant state of shock.

Sometimes, she's carrying out worker tasks. You may see her holding an organ or carrying bodies around using her newfound magic. Other times, she's walking around soundlessly, entering people's rooms and watching them while they sleep, or just patrolling. ]

[ Amberley, or what could once be called Amberley, stumbles back as Loken lands right on top of her. Intelligence isn't particularly strong in a malfunctioning drone, and Garvi will find that Amberley isn't nearly as strong as she should be physically as an inquisitor. If he's able to put two and two together, he'll realize that she was modified to be physically weaker just so that she'd have to use magic to move her limbs.

He might want to grab those arms though, before she gets another chance to get in a shot and blow off his face. ]

[ He indeed does grabs the arms, and begins to try to pull her apart like a rag doll, his voice whispering as he gets in close. ]

[He would say he can't look but, if he looks away, he would be betraying something, he's sure of it.

He never was an Emperor worshiping man but right now, he was making an Aquila with his hands and hoping for the Emperor's forgiveness.]

[ It doesn't take much effort to pull Amberley apart, limb by limb. She was weak to begin with, and Loken is a seven foot man who was genetically enhanced for strength. Put these two things together, and if it weren't for all of the blood spilling out onto the floor, it might look like Garviel was simply pulling apart a paper doll.

Garvi might catch a peaceful look in her eyes, replacing her once widened eyes, before her head is ripped from her neck. ]

[ Loken stops once she dies, not violating the body further. His chest heaves once or twice, covered in an incarnadine splash, and he turns to Cain, removing his helm, a conscious act of humanization after the horrible murder he was forced to commit by necessity. Oh, how he is starting to hate Iacton Qurze's favorite phrase]

[ His fists, still soaked in Amberly's blood, clench, then relax. ]

[ Loken nods sternly as they walk away, and asks Cain. ]

Besides what you're seeing now? I think there's been a new person put in charge. Considering what we're looking at right now, he's not exactly a winner, if you catch what I'm saying.

This reminds me of some of the things I heard Fabius Bile was doing.

The only thing that comes to mind is hope the Emperor helps these poor souls because I sure can't.

Good starts, and good ideas. But remember, the Emperor protects. And we are his instruments. We'll have to find a way, unless the walls break open and we suddenly find the Primarchs and the Emperor himself saving our carcasses, and I don't foresee that.

You never know. I heard that Guilliman fellow has a good chance to return.

That aside, with a laspistol and chainsword, there isn't much I could do. If I could get into Amberley's stuff, she's probably got some pretty heavy weapons in there.

I've got the only chainblade here. I'm pretty sure she keeps the big bolter locked up but...

Could be. We used cut-down lascarbines to train our initiates, until they're ready for bolters or sniper rifles.

I'm guessing by 'lascarbines', you don't mean the same one issued to Guardsmen.
