Another one cut down, as Shiki found himself staving off waves and waves of worker units attacking him on sight as he dodged his way through their shambling attacks, his glasses put in his pocket already as they don't stop coming onto him as lines continued to fill his sight.

Pain.

Ah, looks like one got him in the shoulder, and then his right leg. But it doesn't matter, with these kind of injuries, he can still fight.

He has to kill enough to get out of here, but at this point, this is just getting to be too taxing for him to keep on using his eyes.

Feel free to notice a guy killing off a bunch of worker units around the residential area, guys!]

[Xue had wondered what had been this month's little game. And it all came rushing to light a few days ago. Ever since then she had been on the run and fighting her way through the worker units and avoiding the tower residents who had been turned.

It was easy for her to stay out of the way, being a rogue and all, but she had found different people who were in need of help. One such person was nearby right now, and she decided to cut her way over to him and help.]

[A thunderous **CRUNCH** rings out as a particularly unlucky worker unit is sent flying, joined suddenly by another and another and another still. It just doesn't stop! One would think it'd take some sort of tornado, or at least an elephant to throw things around with such strength, but no, the source is none other than your friendly neighborhood squirrel girl who happens to be quite literally punching around waves of the units.]

Hey!! You alright?! Stay calm, I'll take some of the heat off ya!

[There's just this dumb look as he saw most of them flying off from the force of the blows the squirrel... girl? is dealing out.]

Y-yeah, I am.

[Makoto claps the imaginary dust free of her hands as she watches another drone sail off into the sunset ceiling. Another job well executed, squirrel-gal.]

And that's that! Sweet moves, by the way! How'd you manage to cut them up like that?

[Well, this was an interesting sight, even for chaos. However, he couldn't turn his back on a person in need, so he snapped his fingers a few times, sending some beams of energy at the worker units.]

This Guardian (in fully armoured berserk mode) comes rushes over to Shiki's aid and shields him from an attack before deftly turning his cannon towards the worker units to blast them away. Then he turns to the other boy.]

Are you alright? Can you walk?

Y-yeah, I should be able to.

[God, he didn't realize how many ridiculous guys are just there in this place.]

That's good. Do you need to go to the infirmary, sir? If not, you should return to your room. I can escort you.

[What? There's nothing at all ridiculous about his armour! Certainly not the fact that he has wings even!]
