Putting together an elite team of awesome
Characters: Xerxes and Mitchell
Setting: Random hall
Format: Any
Summary: Xerxes and Mitch meet, a team of trolls is born
Warnings: None
This was an interesting turn of events. To actively kidnap residents of the tower and perform experiments on them that had apparently reworked their brains in some way was quite interesting. Though the continuous mental break downs that those who had undergone the experiment was somewhat eyebrow raising,it was fascinating nonetheless. Though it was near I possible for him to observe every single person who had undergone the torture, unfortunately.
So perhaps he should get to forming his own group to look into the matter? And perhaps he should start with that man in front of him? Why not? Waving over to him with a small smile on his face, got to look inviting. "What's up boy!?"

Good evening! I believe what is up, however, is the rest of this Tower--and the question of how long it shall take for those here to no longer be little playthings of our captors.
[ He'd changed his clothing awhile after fighting Tohko, like any good servant is wont to do. No blood here anymore. ]

[ He's not going to lay all his cards on the table right away, sorry; he doesn't trust easily. ]
no subject
[Well then he will just have to pry a bit harder.] But opinions aside was there anything interesting that you've noticed in the last few days?
no subject
That depends on your definition of interesting--I am sure ours would vary.

[So has Mitch, the idea and existence of this tower does not surprise him in the slightest. Neigther does the current event. But that doesn't stop his curiosity, or his attempt at milking another for anything they may know.]
I'm more than willing to give you...compensation for cooperation, of course.

I am most open to a fair exchange. Though I will state quite the obvious at the moment: anyone who remotely speaks out against our 'saviors' is being taken, quite literally, to the morgue.
no subject
But I'm also certain that it isn't just those speaking out against our captors.
no subject
And how am I to know you are not one of the affected? A lot of things would be good to investigate if one wanted, but I do not see any reason why I should not be concerned.
[ Can't ever be too paranoid or too careful. ]
no subject
Well why don't you ask yourself how do I know that you're not either?
no subject
Then I suppose we shall just have to hope neither of us are very good liars! But I shall make you a deal: why not be partners? This does not need to be overly complicated. I am afraid this place is rather large, one person alone cannot hope to figure out every single thing that has happened or is happening right now.

I make it a habit never to tell that which is not true, so you shall see no arguments from me. But since we are here--
[ He gives a sweeping bow. He sees no need to mention his being a servant right now. ]
... I am Xerxes Break. To whom do I owe the pleasure?
no subject
Mitch, but I would much rather to be referred to as the Eye. [Even though he didn't give out his whole name.] Nice to meet you.
no subject
... He's never been on the Network, period. Because, well, he doesn't know it exists, oops. ]
You must spy an awful lot, in that case! How DOES one come across such a nickname?
no subject
So, I haven't seen you on the network yet...are you new here?
no subject
[ Hmmmmm. A net... work...? As in, information, perhaps? ... Sounds like something a stupid-haired Duke would say. ]
I haven't the foggiest what nets have to do with it, as I do not recall going fishing, but I have been here for long enough to learn that this place is quit unsuitable for fishing, and it lacks the supplies!
no subject
It's an information network that allows you to talk to others over long distances within the tower.
no subject
Ah, so then, it is more efficient than our wonderful mail system.
[ He... still has no idea what or where this thing is. He didn't pay the Terminals much mind; they all looked like more senseless steel boxes. ]
no subject
[This is a travesty that must be fixed. Mitch will now attempt to make him into a computer nerd.]
